Soybean futures moved higher Thursday morning after the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced two daily soybean export sales and a soybean meal export sale. In addition, new-crop soybean sales in USDA’s weekly export report were better than expected.

Traders, however, remain focused on Friday’s crop report from USDA; a number of analysts expect USDA to raise its estimates for 2016 corn and soybean production and for those exports.
