MILK SPECIALTIES GLOBAL, Eden Prairie, Minn. — Troy Peifer has been appointed chief financial officer. Peifer will contribute to growth, profitability and strategic priorities. He was previously with Milestone AV technologies.


ADISSEO, Antony, France — Dr. Rob Shirley has been promoted to senior nutritionist, monogastrics. Shirley will serve functions within the Poultry and Swine teams as well as on strategic projects linked to nutrition products at a regional and global level.

Mitch Webb has been promoted to U.S. poultry sales manager. Webb will split his time between leadership of the U.S. Poultry team and direct sales/key account management responsibilities.


ALLTECH, Lexington, Ky. — Bryan Sanderson has joined the company as U.S. beef species manager. Sanderson was previously with the state of South Dakota.


AMERICAN CHEMISTRY COUNCIL, Washington, D.C. — Christopher L. Jahn has been selected as president and chief executive officer, effective in late October 2019. Jahn is currently with The Fertilizer Institute.


AMERICAN FARMLAND TRUST, Washington, D.C. — Dr. Gabrielle Roesch-McNally has joined the company as director of the Women for the Land initiative. Roesch-McNally will provide overall leadership for the initiative and will collaborate with regional offices to ensure that the organization's programming is strategic, synergistic across regions, well received and impactful. She was previously with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Northwest Climate Hub.


AMERICAN FEED INDUSTRY ASSN., Arlington, Va. — Mallory Gaines has joined the association as manager of market access and trade policy. Gaines will be responsible for developing, implementing and communicating trade policy goals and activities and supporting the growth of trade-related policies for expanding U.S. exports. She will monitor and track key international trade regulatory and policy initiatives and will support the work of the International Trade Committee.


ARM & HAMMER, Princeton, N.J. — Dr. Steven Larsen has joined the Passport Food Safety Solutions team as technical services manager. Larsen will support processing plants, with a focus on pork processing facilities, to help address challenges and provide solutions related to food safety. He was previously with the National Pork Board.

Jacob Yates has joined the Passport Food Safety Solutions team as food safety account manager. Yates will oversee new and established customers in the beef, pork and poultry industries. He was previously with Viskase Companies Inc.


AROMYX CORP., Mountain View, Cal. — Dr. Josh Silverman has been appointed chief executive officer. Silverman was previously with Calysta Inc.


BV SCIENCE, St. Louis, Mo. — Charles Delap has joined the company as sales representative. Delap will introduce HERBANOPLEX CP, GAMAXINE and DETOXA PLUS to the U.S. poultry market.

John Dickerson has joined the company as representative for natural health solutions. Dickerson will introduce Herbanoplex CP and Gamaxine to the U.S. poultry market.


CENTRAL LIFE SCIENCES, Schaumburg, Ill. — Garret Groves has joined the Specialty Agriculture sales team as regional sales manager. Groves will support the line of stored commodity protectants throughout Minnesota, North Dakota and eastern Montana. He was previously with Cibus LLC.


CLEAR AUTOMATION, Southington, Conn. — Mark Cloutier has been appointed director of project management. Cloutier will be responsible for improving the ability to execute large projects, driving process standardization initiatives and coordinating resource allocation efforts.


DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Rodrigo Carranza has joined the company as director of market access--head of Farm Certifications Unit. Carranza will lead the business, expand the program footprint and enhance offerings for producers, retailers and consumers. He was previously with Boehringer Ingelheim.


FAEGREBD, Minneapolis, Minn. — Breia Schleuss has been named co-leader of the food and agribusiness industry team. Schleuss will lead a national team of more than 150 lawyers and consultants serving as advisors to food and agribusiness companies. She is currently a partner in the firm's finance and restructuring group and a leader of the food, beverage and agribusiness finance practice.


FAST GENETICS, Saskatoon, Sask. — Bryce BeVier has been named account manager. BeVier will be responsible for maintaining current business and developing new relationships with key producers in the eastern Corn Belt.


HAMLET PROTEIN, Horsens, Denmark — Erik Visser has been appointed chief executive officer.


NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE DEPARTMENTS OF AGRICULTURE, Arlington, Va. — Rachel Cone has joined the association as coordinator, food safety programs. Cone will work on the Food Safety Program team to coordinate the work of the states on a preventive food safety approach.


RABOBANK, New York, N.Y. — Christine Pelletier has been appointed regional head of trade and commodity finance (TCF) for the Americas. Pelletier was most recently senior relationship manager with the TCF Agribusiness team.


SYNGENTA, Washington, D.C. — Chris Davison has been appointed head of business sustainability for North America. Davison was most recently head of corporate and government affairs in Canada.


TOPIGS NORSVIN, Helvoirt, Netherlands — Dr. Dustin Boler has been appointed meat scientist. Boler will be responsible for research and development activities, sales and marketing support, customer technical service and allied industry support, with a focus on the North American market. He was previously with the University of Illinois.


TYSON FOODS INC., Springdale, Ark. — Noelle O'Mara has been appointed chief marketing officer. O'Mara will be responsible for innovation and brand building across the enterprise to support the overall growth strategy, including overseeing consumer insights and analytics, research and development, innovation and marketing effectiveness. She was most recently general manager and senior vice president of the Jimmy Dean and Tyson brands.


U.S. POULTRY & EGG ASSN., Tucker, Ga. — Dr. Denise Heard has been appointed director of research, effective Oct. 1. Heard will administer the comprehensive research program and Board Research Initiative program of the association and its foundation. She also will work with the foundation's Research Advisory Committee to receive and evaluate research proposals and make recommendations to the board of directors for both organizations for funding approval. She was previously with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Poultry Improvement Plan.
