DEERE & CO., Moline, Ill. — Marc A. Howze has been appointed senior vice president and chief administrative officer, effective Nov. 1. Howze will focus on improved integration of enterprise functions to drive employee engagement and effective execution of the John Deere strategy. His responsibilities also will expand to include human resources, labor relations, public affairs, communications, brand management and security. He is currently vice president, human resources.
Michael J. Mack Jr. will retire as group president, John Deere financial services, global human resources and public affairs, effective Nov. 1.
Cory J. Reed has been appointed president, John Deere financial, effective Nov. 1. Reed is currently senior vice president in the Worldwide Agriculture & Turf Division with responsibility for the Intelligent Solutions Group.
