Dairy.com, which delivers internet service across the dairy industry, has reached definitive terms to acquire Blimling & Associates Inc. and its two sister companies, according to an announcement.
Blimling offers dairy market analysis and consulting services.
Dairy.com chief executive officer Scott Sexton said his company has looked to Blimling for several years as have other dairy enterprises that have tapped Blimling for its insights into market dynamics and to mitigate market volatility. "We are excited to combine those talents with our technology," he said.
The Blimling companies -- Blimling & Associates, Blimling Management Services Inc. and Roger W. Blimling Inc. -- are based in Madison, Wis., and Blimling CEO and president Phil Plourd will continue to lead the Blimling team out of Madison and three additional locations in the U.S., the announcement said.
