New fermentation technology delivers elevated levels of antioxidants, polyphenols and beneficial metabolites to deliver greater peak milk.
May 1, 2015
Purina Animal Nutrition introduces NutriTek Technology; a new opportunity for dairy producers to meet the demands of transition cows and obtain higher peak milk.
Purina NutriTek Technology combines the benefits of Diamond V Original XPC with a new proprietary fermentation technology, to deliver elevated levels of antioxidants, polyphenols and beneficial metabolites, designed to support cow health and lactation performance.
"The goal should be a steep but smooth climb to peak milk production — no hiccups," Dr. Stu Rymph, dairy nutritionist with Purina Animal Nutrition's livestock technical support group, said. "Purina NutriTek Technology can provide the critical nutrition support to help cows get through energy challenges faced during the transition period. In addition, the elevated levels of antioxidants and polyphenols in Purina NutriTek Technology help support the cow's immune system."
