Cryptosporidium parvum plays a major role in the development of neonatal calf diarrhea, and soon there will be a new tool for producers’ toolbox to deal with the disease. The European Medicine’s Agency’s Committee for Veterinary Medicinal Products (CVMP) has adopted a positive opinion for the vaccine for cattle effectively proven to protect against C. parvum starting right at birth.
