AGRICULTURAL UTILIZATION RESEARCH INSTITUTE, St. Paul, Minn. — Monte Koshel has joined the institute as project manager. Koshel will be responsible for leading and coordinating efforts of team members to plan, execute and deliver projects, initiatives and external funding opportunities. Koshel was previously with the University of North Dakota.

Jason Robinson has joined the institute as project development director. Robinson will identify and evaluate opportunities to advance value-added agriculture, with an emphasis on the food focus area for increasing commodity usage and furthering economic development. He will assist clients and partners in developing projects and initiatives resulting in the commercialization of new value-added food products. He was previously with General Mills.

 

VITA PLUS, Madison, Wis. — Dr. Jenn Rowntree has joined the company as calf and heifer specialist. Rowntree will provide on-farm support for sales staff within the market area for all calf- and heifer-related subjects. She will utilize current research and her practical veterinary experience to provide custom solutions that help dairy producers meet their calf and heifer program goals.

 

REMLINGER MANUFACTURING, Kalida, Ohio — Ron Hovest has been promoted to president. Hovest was most recently chief engineer.

 

NUTRIAD, Dendermonde, Belgium — Dr. Waldo Nuez Ortin has been appointed lead scientist aquaculture.

 

ARCHER DANIELS MIDLAND CO., Chicago, Ill. — Samson Li has been named president, ADM Animal Nutrition. Li was previously with Nutreco.

 

CMS, Gainesville, Ga. — Jimmy King has joined the company as sales support manager. King will manage daily activities of the sales support staff and oversee workflow of all business processing, including engineering, sales support administration, purchasing and inventory.

 

DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Ruben Gonzalez has joined the company as regional sales manager. Gonzalez will serve dairy producers, nutritionists, veterinarians and feed mills in California. He was previously with Zoetis.

 

AMVAC NETHERLANDS B.V., Newport Beach, Cal. — Thomas Britze has joined the company as general manager of AMVAC do Brasil Representacoes Ltda. in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Britze also will coordinate the introduction of the new application technology SIMPAS (Smart Integrated Multi-Product Application System) in key international markets. He was previously with HELM do Brazil.

 

BIOZYME INC., St. Joseph, Mo. — Macall Maddox has been named marketing support coordinator. Maddox will assist with marketing projects for the company, its product lines and the nationwide dealer network. She was previously with Tyson Price Farms.

 

LALLEMAND ANIMAL NUTRITION, Milwaukee, Wis. — Wendy Hushon has been named strategic marketing manager, forage additives, on the global silage team. Hushon will help develop and implement the global marketing strategy for the silage inoculant portfolio. She was most recently marketing communications manager in North America.

Nicole Walrod has joined the company as territory business manager for North America. Walrod will support customers in Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, eastern Oklahoma and eastern Texas. She was previously with Midwest Veterinary Supply.

 

PAPILLON AGRICULTURAL CO., Easton, Md. — Dr. Sarah Stocks has joined the company as technical services manager. Stocks will support the sales team in the Northeast, mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes regions and contribute to research and product development. She was previously with Barton, Kiefer & Associates.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Ubirajara de Oliveira has been promoted to business manager-South America (excluding Brazil). De Oliveira will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, evaluation and success of this area in providing business and nutritional solutions to customers. He was most recently poultry product manager-Brazil.

Pam McKenney has joined the company as production supervisor. McKenney was previously with Elanco Animal Health.

Linda Roemen has joined the company as quality assurance/quality control supervisor. Roemen was previously with Elanco Animal Health.

 

DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Nik Ver Steeg has joined the company as ruminant field technical specialist. Ver Steeg will focus on assisting producers with technology and protocols for optimal dairy feed management. He was previously with DHI Computing.

 

U.S. WHEAT ASSOCIATES, Arlington, Va. — Jeff Coey has been promoted to regional vice president for China and Taiwan. Coey will manage staff and export market development activities originating in offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, China, and Taipei, Taiwan.

Ben Conner has been promoted to vice president of policy. Conner will direct efforts to collaborate with wheat farmers and customers around the world to create a fair and competitive trade environment for U.S. wheat. He was most recently director of policy.

Joe Sowers has been promoted to regional vice president for the Philippines and Korea. Sowers will manage staff and export market development activities originating in Manila, Philippines, and Seoul, South Korea. He was most recently assistant regional director for South Asia.

Matt Weimar has been named senior advisor across all Asian countries. Weimar is also regional vice president for South Asia.

 

AMERICAN HUMANE, Washington D.C. — Deena Edwards has been named chief marketing officer. Edwards will help drive mission-focused growth. She was previously with Discovery Communications.

Jack Hubbard has been appointed chief operating officer. Hubbard will work with staff to maximize the impact and social capital of the organization's programs. He was previously chief marketing officer.

 

AMERICAN SOYBEAN ASSN., St. Louis, Mo. — Ryan Findlay has joined the association as chief executive officer. Findlay was previously with Syngenta.

Dr. Michael Watson has been named associate administrator. Watson will work to carry out day-to-day operations, work with stakeholders and employees and oversee the activities of every agency program area and support unit. He was most recently associate deputy administrator for marketing and regulatory programs business services.

 

STEWART-PETERSON, West Bend, Wis. — Christian Walters has been named president. Walters was previously with Northwestern Mutual and Harley-Davidson.

 

AGTEGRA COOPERATIVE, Aberdeen, S.D. — Dan Rosenbaum has joined the cooperative as chief information officer. Rosenbaum will help agricultural retailers maximize their business strategy through the use of technology. He was previously with Land O'Lakes.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Xiaoting Bai has joined the company as technical sales manager — China. Bai will help manage regional sales and marketing activities in China to better serve customers on the science behind performance mineral products.

 

PROVIMI, Brookville, Ohio — Andrew Murray has joined the company as dairy specialist in the Northeast. Murray will provide nutrition training and support to dairy customers in Vermont, New York and Pennsylvania and will collaborate with other members of the Dairy Team in developing solutions and services for the dairy industry.
