DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — John Sheets has joined the company as regional sales manager. Sheets will serve nutritionists, veterinarians, producers and feed mills and will work with the Southeast team. He was previously with Elanco.

 

QUALITY LIQUID FEEDS INC., Dodgeville, Wis. — Terry Long has joined the company as district sales manager. Long will focus on providing support to beef customers in New Mexico and Texas. He was previously with Zinpro Corp.

Stanley Marshall has joined the company as district sales manager. Marshall will focus on providing support to dairy customers in Texas and New Mexico. He was previously with Halfway Farm Chemical.

 

THE POULTRY FEDERATION, Little Rock, Ark. — Joyce Wood has been promoted to director of business operations. Wood will manage the day-to-day operations, annual events and all fund-raising efforts. She was most recently in an accounting and event planning role.

Lauren Sanders has joined the federation as marketing coordinator. Sanders will be responsible for assisting with all marketing efforts.

 

JBS USA, Greeley, Colo. — Lance Kotschwar has been named head of ethics and compliance for the operations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Kotschwar will oversee the global compliance policies and programs, including the code of conduct, whistleblower hotline, global anti-corruption policies, antitrust and competition law, trade compliance and conflict-of-interest policies for JBS USA and Pilgrim's Pride. He was previously with The Gavilon Group LLC.

 

CARGILL ANIMAL NUTRITION, Hopkins, Minn. — Grant Stoddard has joined the Central U.S. dairy team. Stoddard will serve dairy producers in the Minnesota market.

 

MERCK ANIMAL HEALTH, Madison, N.J. — Dr. Justin Welsh has been named executive director of food animal technical services for the U.S. Food Animal Team. Welsh will oversee the technical services and pharmacovigilance groups for the company's ruminants, swine and poultry businesses. He was most recently associate director of technical services in the ruminant business unit.

 

APC INC., Ankeny, Iowa — Dr. Ricardo Esquerra has joined the technical sales team as global poultry manager. Esquerra will oversee market development activities aimed at expanding the use of the company's plasma functional proteins in the global poultry industry. He was previously with Novus International.

 

BROCK GRAIN SYSTEMS, Milford, Ind. — John Tuttle has been named director of sales. Tuttle will be responsible for growing sales with key accounts, directing sales strategies and further development of the dealer network. He will lead the U.S. and Canadian district sales managers in marketing the company’s line of storage, handling, conditioning and structural products for grain. He was most recently West regional market development manager.

 

ELANCO ANIMAL HEALTH, Greenfield, Ind. — Christopher Jensen has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer. Jensen will be responsible for financial operations. He was previously with Celanese Corp.

 

LOUIS DREYFUS CO. B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands — Andrea Maserati has been appointed chief operating officer. Maserati will work to strengthen business activities and operations across the company's geographies. He was most recently senior head of regions and senior head of functions.

Ian McIntosh has rejoined the company as chief strategy officer. McIntosh will coordinate matters relating to company strategy and will oversee the management of four business platforms. He was previously with Edesia Asset Management.

 

MOTOMCO, Madison, Wis. — Nick Consulo has joined the technical sales team as territory manager for the West region of the U.S. Consulo will work with distributors and their sales representatives on increasing market share and will provide customers with technical support and education on product use and marketing in the region, which includes California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Arizona. He was previously with Colby Community College in Colby, Kan.

 

PAPILLON AGRICULTURAL CO., Easton, Md. — Mark Yarish has joined the company as mid-Atlantic regional sales manager. Yarish will work with dairy consultants and producers in the region to identify opportunities for increased feed efficiency with the company's nutritional products. He was previously with Purina Animal Nutrition.

 

CJ AMERICA, Downers Grove, Ill. — Dr. Jason Lee has joined the North America technical team as product development manager. Lee will provide customers with product support and will lead poultry research in North America. He was previously with Texas A&M University.

 

QUALITY LIQUID FEEDS INC., Dodgeville, Wis. — Don Huenefeld has joined the company as agronomy regional sales manager. Huenefeld will provide agronomy support to customers in the Pacific Northwest.

Robert Jenema has joined the company as district sales manager. Jenema will provide agronomy support to customers in Michigan.

Jordan Johnson has joined the company as agronomy coordinator. Johnson will provide technical and sales support to the agronomy department. He was previously with Ross Soil Service.

Michael Steeke has joined the company as agronomy district sales manager. Steeke will provide technical and sales support to agronomy customers in northeastern Iowa, western Wisconsin and southeastern Minnesota. He was previously with Dynamic Cropping Systems.

 

CHORE-TIME, Milford, Ind. — Bob Christenson has been named product manager for controls. Christenson will oversee development of the CHORE-TRONICS line of climate and whole-house controls used for floor-raised poultry and in egg production facilities. He will also be responsible for complementary software, scale systems and other products related to the control and monitoring of poultry house equipment as well as the analysis and reporting of house performance data. He was most recently product manager within another business unit.

 

IOWA BEEF INDUSTRY COUNCIL, Ames, Iowa — Rusty Gibbs has joined the council as director of industry relations. Gibbs will work with beef farmers in and around Iowa as well as key industry leaders to share the value of the beef checkoff investment. He will also lead the Beef Quality Assurance program in Iowa and establish relationships with industry professionals and livestock markets.

 

NEOGEN CORP., Lansing, Mich. — Dr. Robert Donofrio has been named vice president of food safety research and development. Donofrio coordinates research activities in the U.S. as well as with the research teams in Scotland and England. He was most recently director of this group of 75 scientists.

 

NATIONAL LIVESTOCK PRODUCERS ASSN., Colorado Springs, Colo. — Kraig Roesch has joined the association as chief executive officer. Roesch also will head up several associated organizations, including the National Institute for Animal Agriculture and the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef.

 

SYNGENTA, Basel, Switzerland — Stephen Landsman has been named group general counsel, effective May 1. Landsman was most recently global head of mergers and acquisitions.

Christoph Mader will retire as global head of legal and taxes at the end of July 2018.

Roman Mazzotta has been appointed country president for Switzerland and also will represent the company externally, effective May 1. Mazzotta is currently head of legal for Crop Protection.

 

PRAIRIE SWINE CENTRE INC., Saskatoon, Sask. — Dr. Murray Pettitt has been appointed chief executive officer, effective July 1. Pettitt was previously with the University of Saskatchewan.

Lee Whittington will retire as president/CEO, effective July 1.

 

GLOBALVETLINK, Ames, Iowa — Bob Barclay has been named product manager: ag focused. Barclay will oversee the research, development and marketing of agricultural products for the organization throughout the product's life cycle. He was previously with Hologic.

 

TONISITY, St. Joseph, Mo. — E. Michael Amos has joined the company as chief operations officer of the U.S. business. Amos will work with the general manager to execute day-to-day operations.

Daniel Faidley has joined the company as general manager. Faidley will execute a business strategy to bolster product adoption of the Tonisity Px isotonic protein drink for pigs. He was previously with WinField United.

 

UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA, Gainesville, Fla. — Glen Aiken has been named director of the Institute of Food & Agricultural Sciences' North Florida Research & Education Center in Quincy, Fla. Aiken was previously with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

 

FORM-A-FEED, Stewart, Minn. — Mike Root has joined the company as nutrition and production specialist. Root will work with dairy and beef producers in southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa.

 

THE F.L. EMMERT CO., Cincinnati, Ohio — Ashley Kauffman has joined the company as marketing strategist — agriculture. Kauffman will work with the national sales team to provide marketing support and vision, with the goal of creating growth in all aspects of sales, marketing and product support. She was previously with the Sangamon County Farm Bureau.

 

APC INC., Ankeny, Iowa — Dr. Laura Batista has joined the company as a technical consultant for Latin America, the U.S. and Canada. Batista will work with the technical and sales teams on a continuous training program, offering customers nutrition and biosecurity programs for their animals.

 

ASV HOLDINGS INC., Grand Rapids, Minn. — Thomas Foster has been appointed vice president of operations and supply chain. Foster will oversee all operating activities, from sourcing to production and delivery, and will also have strategic planning and profit/loss responsibilities. He was previously with TGW Systems.

 

NEOGEN CORP., Lansing, Mich. — Jerome Hagedorn has been named vice president of food safety operations. Hagedorn will be responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, shipping and warehousing, engineering and quality systems for the global food safety operations. He was previously with Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics.

 

CENTRAL LIFE SCIENCES, Schaumburg, Ill — Brandon Nicholson has been promoted to national sales manager for the Farm & Ranch segment. Nicholson will oversee the strategic farm and ranch key accounts while having management responsibility for the sales development and Farm & Ranch managers. He was most recently national account manager for Farm & Ranch.

 

INTERNATIONAL COTTON ADVISORY COMMITTEE, Washington, D.C. — Mike McCue has been appointed communications director. McCue was previously with Cotton International magazine and The Cotton Yearbook.

 

TECHMIX GLOBAL, Stewart, Minn. — Laurens van Gilse has joined the company to support sales efforts and distributor relations in the European Union region. Van Gilse will support dairy farmer customers across Europe.

 

NUTRIQUEST, Mason City, Iowa — Nick Gales has joined the company as director of finance. Gales will be responsible for providing leadership to the accounting and finance group. He was previously with Wells Fargo.

 

PAPILLON AGRICULTURAL CO., Easton, Md. — Dr. Tricia Wolfswinkel has joined the company as Northwest regional sales manager. Wolfswinkel will be responsible for educating dairy consultants and producers in the region about feed efficiency opportunities with the company's nutritional products.

CAL-MAINE FOODS INC., Jackson, Miss. — Sherman Miller has been named president and chief operating officer. Miller will assume new executive duties in addition to his responsibility for all production and processing facilities. He was most recently vice president and chief operating officer.

 

NUTRIAD, Dendermonde, Belgium — David Mlostek has joined the company as dairy nutrition consultant in Wisconsin.

 

TECHMIX GLOBAL, Minneapolis, Minn. — Bret Hobbs has been appointed bovine sales account manager for the Southwest territory. Hobbs will communicate the value of new technologies and develop educational training programs for distribution channels, veterinary clinics and producers in the territory. He was previously with SarTec Corp.
