BUNGE LTD., White Plains, N.Y. — Christos Dimopoulos has been named president, agribusiness. Dimopoulos was most recently senior vice president global grains and oilseeds.

 

NUTRIAD, Dendermonde, Belgium — Goud Dhanunjaya has been appointed regional sales manager aquaculture for the Indian subcontinent.

OBITUARY Dr. Jerry Payne of American Animal Health Inc. (AAH) passed away Sept. 25 in Ft. Worth, Texas, at the age of 78. Born in Haskell, Texas, Payne graduated from Texas A&M University in 1964 and Purdue University in 1970 and worked in the human and animal biologics industry since 1966. Payne successfully developed the first freeze-dried avian encephalomyelitis vaccine licensed in the U.S. In 1982, he founded AAH with Dr. Hsi-tang "Nick" Tung to develop and market innovative products while assuring continued employment in the consolidating veterinary biological industry. The company specializes in bacterin toxoids and has, over the years, developed unique adjuvant systems, bovine Mycoplasma bovis bacterins and autogenous bacterins for various species. AAH formed AmPharmCo and entered into the companion animal market in January 2001 with a line of pet nutritional gels, health aids, grooming aids and products for professional groomers.

 

AB VISTA, Marlborough, U.K. — Robbie Clay has joined the GB & Ireland team as sales manager for southern England and Wales. Clay will support ruminant customers with best practice advice across the product and technical service portfolio.

 

AGCO CORP., Duluth, Ga. — Eric Hansotia has been appointed chief operating officer, effective Jan. 1, 2019. Hansotia will be responsible for all regional commercial operations as well as global product management, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain functions. He was most recently senior vice president, global crop cycle and fuse connected services.

 

AGTEGRA COOPERATIVE, Aberdeen, S.D. — Mike Nickolas will retire as executive vice president and chief operating officer, grain, at the end of January 2019.

 

ANUVIA PLANT NUTRIENTS, Zellwood, Fla. — Paul Duncan has been named director of sustainability. Duncan will advance the company's commitment to social, environmental and economic sustainability. He was previously with Cargill Optimizing Services.

 

ARM & HAMMER, Princeton, N.J. — Shannon Burasco has joined the U.S. team as a poultry account manager. Burasco will serve various poultry market sectors, with an emphasis on the broiler segment, and will focus on expanding the CERTILLUS and CELMANAX brands in the U.S. poultry market. He was previously with Aviagen and Cobb.

 

ASSOCIATION OF EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS, Milwaukee, Wis. — Johan “Kip” Eideberg has been named interim vice president, government and industry relations, effective Jan. 1, 2019. Eideberg will lead the Washington, D.C., office and advocacy activities. He is currently vice president of public affairs.

Sara Feuling has joined the association as director, construction. Feuling was previously with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

Mike Lietke has joined the association as senior director, statistics. Lietke was previously with Briggs & Stratton.

 

BAYER, Whippany, N.J. — Scott Partridge has been named U.S. general counsel. He was previously with Monsanto.

 

BIOZYME INC., St. Joseph, Mo. — Alan Lee has been promoted to director of domestic business development. Lee will lead the domestic sales, business development and sales coaching teams and will lead sales domestically, including building relationships with key partners. He most recently served as director of national sales in the southern region.

 

CAL-MAINE FOODS INC., Jackson, Miss. — Max P. Bowman has been named vice president and chief financial officer.

 

CALYXT INC., Minneapolis, Minn.— Aaron Snyder has joined the company as supply chain manager. Snyder will be responsible for procuring all materials needed for production, overseeing shipping operations and implementing and managing new planning processes. He was previously with Cargill.

 

CANADIAN BIO-SYSTEMS INC., Calgary, Alb. — Anhao “Tony” Wang has joined the company as nutrition and technical service coordinator. Wang will be responsible for the full spectrum of Feed Science Platforms and will contribute to solutions supporting domestic and international markets.

 

CHORE-TIME, Milford, Ind. — Daniel Etulain has been named Asia sales manager. Etulain will be responsible for overseeing product sales for the Asia Pacific region through existing regional sales managers and the company's distributor network. He will also help develop and execute new initiatives for increasing the company's growth and market share in the region.

Paul Janssen has been named sales director for Chore-Time Europe. Janssen will be responsible for overseeing Chore-Time and Volito product sales and service throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa, working through existing regional sales managers and the independent distributor network. He will also lead the continued integration of Volito into Chore-Time. He was most recently sales director for Volito.

 

CMS, Gainesville, Ga. — Brent Edge has been named manufacturing manager. Edge will be responsible for directing the operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure that products are built and delivered to customers on time.

 

DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — José Méndez Petterson has joined the ruminant team in Mexico in a technical support and sales role. Petterson will serve the Mexican protein production industry and provide technical support for producers, veterinarians, nutritionists and feed professionals. He was previously with Squisito Arte Gourmet.

 

ERIKS NORTH AMERICA, Pittsburgh, Pa. — Shawn Courtney has been appointed president and chief executive officer, effective Nov. 1. Courtney is currently regional product director of ERIKS North America and president of ERIKS Seals & Plastics.

 

FEDERAL AGRICULTURAL MORTGAGE CORP. (FARMER MAC), Washington, D.C. — Bradford T. Nordholm has been named president and chief executive officer, effective Oct. 15. Nordholm will work toward the core mission of increasing the availability and affordability of credit for U.S. farmers and ranchers. He was previously with Starwood Energy Group Global LLC.

 

HUBBARD, Quintin, France — Jean Lebec has been appointed sales manager for France and East Africa. Lebec was most recently international business development manager in East Africa.

 

KENT NUTRITION GROUP, Muscatine, Iowa — Shawn Belk has joined the company as safety manager.

 

LAND O'LAKES, Arden Hills, Minn. — Dr. David Bravo has joined the Animal Nutrition Technical Innovation team as director for innovation and technology scouting. Bravo was previously with Pancosma.

 

LIVESTOCK WATER RECYCLING, Calgary, Alb. — Joel Darichuk has joined the company as production coordinator. Darichuk will be responsible for streamlining the manufacturing processes.

 

MINNESOTA SOYBEAN GROWERS ASSN., Mankato, Minn. — Joe Smentek has been promoted to executive director. Smentek was most recently director of public affairs.

 

MOTION INDUSTRIES INC.,  Birmingham, Ala. — Hal Midkiff has joined the company as product sales manager, process pumps and equipment. Midkiff will help grow the company's process pumps market share by identifying opportunities and working with pump suppliers, specialists and the salesforce to develop strategies, create the optimum product mix, support training and development and provide customers with quality solution offerings.

 

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE DEPARTMENTS OF AGRICULTURE, Arlington, Va. — Sarah Grace Edison has joined the association as manager, communications. Edison will help coordinate internal and external communication initiatives and carry out the communication strategy around public policy and federal cooperative agreements. She was previously with CropLife America.

 

NATIONAL MILK PRODUCERS FEDERATION, Arlington, Va. — Nicole Ayache has joined the federation as director of sustainability initiatives. Ayache will lead the environmental stewardship and workforce development programs within the Farmers Assuring Responsible Management Program.

Alan Bjerga has joined the federation as senior vice president of communications. Bjerga will lead the communications efforts, focusing on media relations, marketing and digital storytelling. He was previously with Bloomberg.

Jaime Castaneda has been named senior vice president of policy strategy and international trade. Castaneda will help develop the federation's positions on a host of policy issues. He was most recently head of strategic initiatives and trade policy.

Chris Galen has been named senior vice president of member services and strategic initiatives. Galen will help strategize, develop and execute services to members, associate members and allied dairy organizations. He was most recently head of communications.

 

OKLAHOMA CATTLEMEN'S ASSN., Oklahoma City, Okla.— Taylor Shackelford has joined the staff, effective Oct. 15. Shackelford will lead the foundation and association marketing and will assist in lobbying efforts. He was previously with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency.

 

RABOBANK, New York, N.Y. — Paul Schram has been named global head of mergers and acquisitions on the global Corporate Finance team. Schram was most recently head of mergers and acquisitions in the Netherlands.

 

RALCO, Marshall, Minn. — Joe Snedden has accepted a new and expanded role as show professional within Ralco Show.

 

RENEWABLE FUELS ASSN., Washington, D.C. — Connor Hamburg has joined the staff as director of government affairs. Hamburg will focus on legislative and regulatory issues affecting the renewable fuel industry and rural America. He was previously with the National Corn Growers Assn.

 

STOLLER, Houston, Texas — Russell Thomas has joined the company as U.S. general manager. Thomas will set the direction for the U.S. business and operations. He was previously with Verdesian Life Sciences.

 

U.S. WHEAT ASSOCIATES, Arlington, Va. — Stephanie Bryant-Erdmann has been named assistant regional director for Mexico, Central America and Caribbean, effective Jan. 15, 2019. Bryant-Erdmann was most recently market analyst.

Claire Hutchins will join the communications team as market analyst, effective Nov. 30, 2018. Hutchins will analyze and report on global wheat market supply, demand and price trends.

Chad Weigand has been named assistant regional director for sub-Saharan Africa, effective Dec. 1, 2018. Weigand will be responsible for expanding market share in that region. He was most recently assistant regional director for Mexico, Central America and Caribbean.

 

VITA PLUS CORP., Madison, Wis. — Garrett Slavik has been named dairy specialist. Slavik will serve dairy producers in central Michigan and will work with farm teams to provide nutrition and management solutions to meet their goals.

 

WHEAT MARKETING CENTER, Portland, Ore. — Dr. Jayne Bock has joined the center as technical director. Bock will lead research and technical training efforts focused on demonstrating the value of U.S. wheat.

 

WILBUR-ELLIS CO. LLC, Denver, Colo. — Mark Ripato has been named Agribusiness division president, effective Nov. 1. Ripato was previously with Tenkoz.
