Lighthizer again drilled on ag trade issues on Capitol Hill

Senate Finance Committee discusses status of China, Japan and Section 232 tariffs during hearing.

U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Robert Lighthizer was on Capitol Hill again Tuesday, this time testifying before the Senate Finance Committee to defend actions the Trump Administration continues to take on the trade front. Trade issues relating to agriculture were a common theme from senators in questioning, and Lighthizer defended the current and future actions the Administration looks to take.
