Available now from Quality Technology International (QTI) is a new organic version of a direct-fed microbial (DFM) based upon the research-proven Calsporin all-natural patented Bacillis subtilis (C-3102).

Calsporin Organic 2G gives organic poultry producers a helpful new and natural OMRI-listed product to combat harmful organisms, QTI said.

This DFM has been shown in hundreds of global research studies to increase beneficial gut organisms like lactobacillus and bifidobacterium, that in turn help reduce harmful organisms such as enterobacteriaceae, salmonella and Clostridium perfringens. It is considered a "generally recognized as safe" organism.

B. subtilis has the ability to form a tough protective endospore, allowing this organism to tolerate extreme environmental conditions, QTI said. The patented Calsporin C-3102 strain is unique from other commercially available strains and is able to withstand feed processing up to 194°F.

QTI is a leader in providing natural gut health products for conventional, organic or antibiotic-free production.
