Andrew Howerton has joined the sales team at Novus International Inc., as the swine sales manager for the central region in North America.

A seventh-generation farmer, Howerton brings his experience as a 5600-sow-unit production manager at Reliance Pork to Novus.

“Having a production background helps me connect with customers – fellow producers across the Midwest – through my deep understanding of their challenges on the farm,” he said. “With this insight, I can offer solutions I know they’ll appreciate.”

A Missouri native, Howerton attended College of the Ozarks for his degree in business administration and economics. He is a member of the Missouri Pork Association and is on the sustainability task force with the National Pork Board.

Novus Swine Executive Sales Manager Eric Sanny said Howerton’s experience compliments that of the swine team members.

“Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge in swine production. His background and commitment to helping the swine industry become better make him a great fit for our Novus swine team,” Sanny said.
