AGSPRING, Leawood, Kan. — Josh Skatvold has been named assistant vice president of transportation and supply chain. Skatvold will be responsible for overseeing all rail and truck logistics at Big River Rice & Grain in the Mississippi Delta region and for the Thresher Artisan Wheat operations in Idaho. He was previously with Tyson Fresh Meats.

 

DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Michelle Philibeck has joined the company as ruminant sales manager, Wisconsin. Philibeck will provide sales and technical support for dairy producers, feed mills, veterinarians and nutritionists in Wisconsin. She was previously with ImmuCell Corp.

 

NUTRIAD INC. USA, Hampshire, Ill. — Chuck Middleton has joined the company as dairy nutrition consultant.

Kevin Stephens has joined the company as regional sales manager in the Southeast U.S.

 

PATTERSON COMPANIES INC., St. Paul, Minn. — Mark Walchirk has been named president and chief executive officer, effective Nov. 20, 2017. Walchirk was previously with McKesson Corp.

 

SANDERSON FARMS INC., Laurel, Miss. — John Coleman has been promoted to corporate retail sales manager. Coleman will be responsible for introducing prospective customers to the company and executing the marketing plan. He was most recently national sales representative.

 

CHORE-TIME, Milford, Ind. — Judi Clark has been named supply chain manager. Clark will be responsible for leading all aspects of purchasing, planning and scheduling, as well as inventory control and forecasting. She was most recently planning and scheduling manager.

 

LALLEMAND ANIMAL NUTRITION, Milwaukee, Wis. — Carissa Adams has joined the company as documentation coordinator. Adams will be responsible for managing product and quality assurance documentation for all North and Central American products and supporting products produced at the Milwaukee location.

Amanda Lichtensteiger has joined the company as ruminant product manager. Lichtensteiger will be responsible for marketing brands such as ProTernative, Levucell SC and Micro-Cell probiotics.

Dr. Megan Lillis Smith has joined the company as territory business manager — northeastern U.S. Smith will work with customers, distributors, veterinarians and nutritionists across the northeastern U.S. to support the complete portfolio of probiotics, silage inoculants and yeast derivatives.

 

FORM-A-FEED INC., New Richmond, Wis. — Troy Brown has joined the company as forage product line manager. Brown will manage the forage products, services and programs the company offers.

 

IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY, Ames, Iowa — Wendy Wintersteen has been named president of the university, effective Nov. 20. Wintersteen is currently endowed dean of the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences and director of the Iowa Agriculture & Home Economics Experiment Station.

 

RABOBANK, St. Louis, Mo. — Christine McCracken has joined the RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness team as executive director, animal protein. McCracken will cover the North American poultry and hog sector. She was previously a sell-side food and agribusiness analyst.

 

MAXI-LIFT INC., Dallas, Texas — Brad Trost has joined the company as technical sales specialist for the Midwest region. Trost will focus on driving sales and increasing territory market share. He was previously with Gates Corp.

 

WILBUR-ELLIS, San Francisco, Cal. — John L. Buckley has been named president and chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1, 2018. Buckley was previously with Air Liquide.

 

VITA PLUS, Madison, Wis. — Dr. Keith Lesmeister has joined the company as dairy specialist. Lesmeister will work with the western region dairy team and dairy producers in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and Kansas to provide custom diet formulations and forage analyses.

 

SCR DAIRY, Madison, Wis. — Jesse Odom has joined the company as Northwest region manager. Odom will assist customers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and northern California.

 

SELECT SIRES INC., Plain City, Ohio — Dr. David Brown has joined the company as facilities operations manager for the Roger L. Ripley Production Center in Westby, Wis. Brown will oversee all day-to-day operations at the facility. He was previously with Genex.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Dr. Duarte Neves has joined the company as research nutritionist — poultry. Neves will assist the Research & Nutritional Services non-ruminant manager for North America to direct and coordinate poultry research and development activities and to provide technical services to internal and external customers.

 

KENT NUTRITION GROUP, Muscatine, Iowa — Kevin Allman has been promoted to regional sales manager, western region. Allman was most recently territory sales manager for northeast Nebraska.

Charles "Chuck" Woods has joined the company as regional sales manager, Mississippi River region. Woods was previously with Nedap and FAST Genetics.

 

THE SCOULAR CO., Omaha, Neb. — Bryan Wurscher has joined the company as vice president, division manager and general manager of the special crops business. Wurscher will oversee all aspects of the operation that sources and processes special crops in Canada and the U.S. for use around the world. He was previously with Cargill.

 

SUPERIOR RADIANT PRODUCTS, Fortville, Ind. — B.J. Parker has been appointed agriculture sales specialist. Parker will be responsible for building and managing existing clients and opening new clients in the U.S. agricultural infrared market.

 

ADISSEO, Alpharetta, Ga. — Dr. James Barton has joined the company as poultry technical manager. Barton will provide technical support on key accounts in the Southeast U.S.

Jeff Lewis has joined the company as Southeast business manager. Lewis will be responsible for poultry accounts in eastern Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia. He was previously with Cargill Animal Nutrition.

Dr. Felipe Navarro has joined the company as director of marketing. Navarro will supervise the marketing efforts of the poultry and ruminant teams in North and Central America.

 

ARM & HAMMER ANIMAL NUTRITION, Princeton, N.J. — Danny Wilburn has joined the U.S. sales team as a poultry account manager. Wilburn will provide poultry integrators, veterinarians and nutritionists across the U.S. with microbial and nutrition solutions. He was previously with Virginia Poultry Grower's Cooperative.

 

DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Del Holzer has joined the company as director, poultry business access. Holzer will be responsible for direct sales to broiler companies as well as market access to retail and foodservice companies. He was previously with Elanco Animal Health.

 

KENT NUTRITION GROUP, Muscatine, Iowa — Jackie Cleaver has joined the company as commercial specialist. Cleaver will be responsible for growing the commercial business in the mid-Atlantic market.

 

DELACON, Steyregg, Austria — Dr. Stacie Appleton has been appointed regional technical manager for poultry on the U.S. team. Appleton will support research and education on phytogenic feed additives in the U.S., including supporting field trials and research, assisting with sales and training efforts and supporting product development. She was previously with Purina.

ALLFLEX USA, Dallas, Texas — Jared Patterson has joined the company as Northwest regional manager. Patterson will oversee sales and marketing responsibilities in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

 

ARYSTA LIFESCIENCE NORTH AMERICA, Cary, N.C. — Johnathan Jay has joined the company as territory sales manager for the Midwest region. Jay will assist customers in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio with their crop management programs and other key crop protection decisions for their farms. He was previously with Helena Chemical Co.

 

KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY, Manhattan, Kan. — Alison Crane has joined the university as assistant professor and extension sheep and meat goat specialist for the department of animal sciences and industry, effective Oct. 23. Crane will develop and lead extension, teaching and applied research programs in sheep and meat goat production and management, oversee the Sheep & Meat Goat Center, teach undergraduate sheep and meat goat science, advise undergraduate and graduate students and coach the collegiate wool judging team.

 

ALLFLEX USA, Dallas, Texas — Jared Patterson has joined the company as Northwest regional manager. Patterson will oversee the sales and marketing responsibilities in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

 

ORGANIC FARMERS ASSN., Kutztown, Pa. — Mark Rokala has been appointed policy director. Rokala will lead policy work on the farm bill, help identify farmer members' policy priorities, connect members with congressional leaders and ensure that federal policies help support organic farmers.

 

PAS REFORM, Zeddam, Netherlands — Niels Stam has been appointed sales director for Eastern Europe. Stam will work with customers, local agents and the sales and service teams to provide equipment and service solutions for hatchery customers in Eastern Europe. He was previously with Lexmark Enterprise Software and Gomocha.

 

BECK AG INC., Wayne, Neb. — Dave Dell has joined the company as vice president for go-to-market solutions. Dell will consult with clients to develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy with potential to utilize the AG IQ customer intelligence and experience-sharing tactics. He was previously with Brock Grain Systems.

 

GLOBALVETLINK, Ames, Iowa — Ron Lane has been named national sales manager. Lane was most recently territory manager for the western region.

 

PAS REFORM, Zeddam, Netherlands — Ernst Pfeijffer has been appointed to the project management team to work on the planning and implementation of hatchery projects for customers around the world. Pfeijffer will deliver key elements of the SmartCare program to support customers remodeling an existing hatchery or building a new site by translating, defining and specifying hatchery builds and installations, including risk analysis, budgeting and project planning. He will be responsible for the direct management of project supervisors while on location during installation and commissioning. He was previously with Innclose B.V.

 

PMI NUTRITIONAL ADDITIVES, Shoreview, Minn. — Dr. Keith Bolsen has joined the company's team of technical experts. Bolsen will work with dairy farmers and nutritionists to evaluate and adjust silage, product, harvest, storage and feed management practices to deliver on milk production goals. He was previously with Kansas State University.
