ASV HOLDINGS INC., Grand Rapids, Minn. — Justin Rupar has been named vice president of sales and marketing. Rupar will be responsible for overall management of sales and marketing and distribution of the company's products worldwide. He was previously with Yanmar America and Yamaha Motor Corp.

 

DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Allyson Kragel has joined the company as marketing communications manager. Kragel will focus on advertising and media relations, public relations and corporate and local communications. She was previously with Kirkwood Community College.

 

R&D LIFE SCIENCES, Menomonie, Wis. — Tim Kelly has been named vice president of sales and marketing. Kelly will oversee the company's strategic direction and manage the sales and marketing team in North America. He was previously with Chr. Hansen.

Dr. Luis C. Solórzano has joined the company as director of technical services. Solórzano will be responsible for directing new product development, for providing training and for technical sales support to sales personnel, customers and dairy producers. He was previously with Feed Components.

 

TONSITY, St. Joseph, Mo. — Dr. Mark Eisenhart has joined the company as a technical services veterinarian. Eisenhart will provided research, education and support to the product team as well as producers and their cooperating veterinarians. He was previously with Spotlight Solutions LLC.

 

CARGILL ANIMAL NUTRITION, Hopkins, Minn. — Dr. Bill Braungard has joined the mid-Atlantic U.S. dairy team as dairy specialist. Braungard will focus on providing technical support to customers in the mid-Atlantic region.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Hans Aae has joined the company as swine business manager-Europe, Russia and South Africa. Aae will provide business and nutritional solutions and technical sales support in the swine industry and will strengthen continued sales across Europe, Russia and South Africa.

 

CAMBRIDGE TECHNOLOGIES LLC, Worthington, Minn. — Neil Robinson has joined the company as lab tech III. Robinson was previously with Newport Laboratories.

Brian Standafer joined the company as field account manager. Standafer was previously with Grazix Animal Health and Newport Laboratories.

Dayton Williamson has joined the company as production supervisor. Williamson was previously with Merck Animal Health.

 

MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE & RURAL DEVELOPMENT, Lansing, Mich. — Ken McFarlane has been named chief deputy director. McFarlane was most recently deputy director overseeing the Food & Dairy Division, Laboratory Division and Office of Organizational Innovation.

 

AGSPRING, Leawood, Kan. — Mike Hallman has been named vice president of sales. Hallman will be responsible for direct sales, distribution, broker sales and customer relationship development for the corporation and its subsidiaries. He was previously with DuPont Nutrition & Health.

POULIN GRAIN, Newport, Vt. — Francisco San Emerterio has been named dairy support technician. San Emerterio will provide technical support to dairy customers in New England and New York. He was previously provided technical support.

 

VIRTUS NUTRITION, Remus, Mich. — Julie Judge has joined the company as Great Lakes sales manager. Judge will work with nutritionists and dairy producers in the Michigan, Indiana and Ohio dairy market to improve herd health, milk and reproductive performance. She was previously with Merck Animal Health.

 

BIOZYME INC., St. Joseph, Mo. — Erin Creason has been promoted to director of customer support. Creason will work with the customer support team to assist with projects and provide advice as needed. She will oversee dealer requests, Online Dealer Center training and product orders and transportation. She was most recently inside sales coordinator.

Trent Gabler has been promoted to sales coach. Gabler will assist area sales managers across the country with their sales skills and processes. He was most recently area sales manager representing Iowa, southern Minnesota and southern Wisconsin.

 

CHOICE GENETICS, West Des Moines, Iowa — Bryce Martin will join the company as director for USA and Canada, effective March 26. Martin will also assume the general management of Choice Genetics USA.

 

HUBBARD, Quintin, France — Claude Toudic has been appointed premium product manager. Toudic will be responsible for collecting, monitoring and analyzing premium product performances from the field. He was most recently technical manager for the Europe/Middle East/Africa and Brazil regions.

 

BOVISYNC, Fond du Lac, Wis. — Dr. Ramon M. Mur Novales has been named software developer — advanced analytics. Mur will develop, maintain and document application code, develop tools for use by tech support and communicate technical formats. He also will work with the technical support manager to diagnose application defects.

 

UNITED FRESH PRODUCE ASSN., Washington, D.C. — John Hollay has joined the association as senior director of government relations. Hollay was previously with the National Milk Producers Federation.

 

VALENT U.S.A. LLC, Walnut Creek, Cal. — William “Bill” Hendrix has been appointed vice president of technology. Hendrix will oversee all research and development functions as well as all regulatory activities. He was previously with Dow AgroSciences.

 

BROCK GRAIN SYSTEMS, Milford, Ind. — Miranda Thomas has joined the company as business support group logistics coordinator. Thomas will be responsible for scheduling product pickups for dealers at the company's Milford and Kansas City, Mo., manufacturing facilities by working with dealers, carriers and the shipping department.

Schutz has been named head of the department of animal science in the College of Food, Agricultural & Natural Resource Sciences, effective June 11, 2018. Schutz will lead the department to enhance the productivity and well-being of animals to support a growing world population through education, science and innovative technology. He is currently with Purdue University.

 

ARM & HAMMER, Princeton, N.J. — Justin Legg has joined the U.S. sales team as poultry account manager. Legg will work with poultry integrators, veterinarians and nutritionists across the U.S. to provide microbial and nutrition solutions from the company's portfolio. He was previously with Acadian Seaplants Ltd.

 

BIORIGIN, Sao Paulo, Brazil — David Mills has joined the company as technical sales manager for animal nutrition in Europe. Mills will be responsible for sales in the regions of Belgium, the Netherlands, France and the U.K.

 

DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Miles Huffaker has joined the company as director, market access, dairy. Huffaker will focus on market access, key accounts and helping the ruminant team meet business goals. He was previously with Elanco.

 

STONEHAVEN INCUBATE, Andermatt, Switzerland — Dr. Mark Heffernan has been appointed chief executive officer. Heffernan was previously with Nexvet Biopharma PLC.

 

BIMEDA INC., Oakbrook Terrace, Ill. — Mindie Burch has been appointed key account manager for MWI Animal Health. Burch will primarily focus on growing business with her assigned account. She was previously with WALCO International and Fort Dodge Animal Health.

 

HUBBARD, Quintin, France — Mathieu Lardiere has been appointed technical manager for the Europe, Middle East & North Africa (EMEA) region. Lardiere will lead and coordinate all technical support in the EMEA region and will ensure the reinforcement of technical exchanges with the other regional entities. He was most recently customer technical service.

 

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE DEPARTMENTS OF AGRICULTURE, Arlington, Va. — Sara Arsenault has joined the association as coordinator, meetings and executive assistant to the chief executive officer. Arsenault will lead coordination of the association's two national conferences and all engagement with the CEO and the board of directors. She was previously with Yardi Systems Inc.

 

NOVITA NUTRITION, Brookings, S.D. — Rick Bonander has been appointed regional sales manager. Bonander will be responsible for selling NovaMeal bypass protein, with a primary focus in the North Central U.S.

JB Voss has been appointed sales manager. Voss will be responsible for selling NovaMeal bypass protein in the Northeast and High Plains regions of the U.S. He was previously with Archer Daniels Midland.

 

PROVIMI, Brookville, Ohio — Blaine Blackburn will join the U.S. premix and nutrition commercial leadership team as national dairy sales leader, effective April 1, 2018. Blackburn will focus on development of the dairy sales team as well as the engagement, distribution, alignment and execution of strategy while leading overall sales efforts throughout the U.S. Blackburn previously led Cargill's feed and nutrition businesses within the U.S., Malaysia and Poland.

Terry Davies will join the U.S. premix and nutrition commercial leadership team as commercial director for the poultry team, effective April 1, 2018. Davies will support poultry customers within Cargill's premix and nutrition business, overseeing delivery on customer objectives and continuous building of the poultry product and service portfolio. Davies was previously with British United Turkeys of America.

 

VITA PLUS CORP., Madison, Wis. — Dr. Jose Soto has joined the company as director of swine nutrition and product development. Soto will focus on how current swine research can be used to provide products and nutritional services for customers and will work with the swine team to continue to grow and develop the brand across the market area.

 

BROCK GRAIN SYSTEMS, Milford, Ind. — Tauren Thompson has joined the company as a product specialist. Thompson will serve as a resource for customer service representatives and engineers and will offer his expertise in designing and building special orders.

 

TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY, Lubbock, Texas — William F. “Bill” Brown has been named dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources, effective April 2. Brown was previously with the University of Tennessee.

 

ANPARIO, Worksop, U.K. — Osama Al Orjany has been appointed technical sales manager in the Middle East region. Al Orjany will be responsible for further business development of Orego-Stim, Optomega Plus, Mycostat and Ultrabond, with a special focus on GCC & Pakistan. He was previously with Animal Nutrition - GCC.

 

BOVISYNC, Fond du Lac, Wis. — Ean S. Gibson has been named product manager. Gibson will work with engineering to identify areas for product improvement, continually assess competitive products, issue tracking, reporting and fix validation. He also will be responsible for testing new application components and releases, communicating new feature releases, completing bug fixes with staff and customers, leading trade shows and providing reporting assistance to consultants. He was previously with Schwartua Farm.

 

BROCK GRAIN SYSTEMS, Milford, Ind. — Penny Stafford has joined the company as customer service representative. Stafford will be responsible for entering dryer orders, invoicing shipments and providing assistance to the dealer network.

HOUSE AGRICULTURE COMMITTEE, Washington, D.C. — Katie Zenk has joined the committee's minority staff as professional staff. Zenk will play a role in developing policy for a new farm bill. She was previously with Land O'Lakes Inc.
