ILLINOIS PORK PRODUCERS ASSN., Springfield, Ill. — Jenny Jackson has joined the association as director of communications, effecting March 27. Jackson was previously with J.O. Harris Sales, Farm Equipment.

 

OHIO SOYBEAN ASSN., Worthington, Ohio — Kirk Merritt has been named executive director. Merritt will be responsible for directing the missions of the Ohio Soybean Assn., the Ohio Soybean Council and the Ohio Soybean Council Foundation. He will also continue in his most recent role as executive director of the Ohio Soybean Council.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — David Fox has joined the company as marketing manager — the Americas. Fox will develop short- and long-range strategic marketing plans and programs for company products and business solutions throughout North, Central and South America. He will lead regional marketing plan implementation and work with cross-functional teams in the Americas to position and deliver products, programs and educational tools to customers.

Amber Schramm has been promoted to senior associate, North America. Schramm will oversee marketing for dairy and swine.

Katie Seppelt has been promoted to digital marketing specialist — global. Seppelt will help develop and support the global digital platforms. She was most recently marketing assistant.

 

ANIMART LLC, Beaver Dam, Wis. — Amanda Weister has joined the Northeast sales team as inside sales representative. Weister will work with producers and territory managers to build and maintain customer relationships.

 

DEVENISH NUTRITION, Fairmont, Minn. — Dr. Mike Blair has joined the North American poultry team as poultry nutritionist. Blair will work to strengthen the broiler, turkey and layer nutrition consulting services, and he will continue to consult with customers from his previous company, A & J Nutrition Services.

 

AMERICAN FEED INDUSTRY ASSN., Arlington, Va. — Jenny McFarland has joined the association as executive assistant. McFarland will support the president and chief executive officer and will handle administrative duties for the Institute for Feed Education & Research. She was previously with the Associated General Contractors of America.

 

REPROSCAN, Beaverton, Ore. — Derek Hermes has joined the sales team as U.S. sales representative. Hermes will head up on-farm demonstrations for beef and dairy operations. He was previously with Champion Genetics.

 

ROXELL, Maldegem, Belgium — Wai Yong Chan has joined the company as service engineer on the Malaysian team. Chan will support local distributors and service new and existing poultry and pig farmers in Asian countries.

 

KENT NUTRITION GROUP INC., Muscatine, Iowa — Steve Berry has joined the company as creative design manager. Berry will work on all marketing projects, including product brochures, print and digital ads, informational collateral, packaging and point-of-sale materials, as well as other creative marketing initiatives. He was previously with OutcomesMTM.

 

ANIMART LLC, Beaver Dam, Wis. — Amanda Krapfl has joined the global sales department of the dairy and livestock division as global sales support. Krapfl will work to support the needs of international customers.

 

OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY, Columbus, Ohio — Adam Ward has been named director of government affairs for the College of Food, Agriculture & Environmental Sciences, effective March 6. Ward will develop and strengthen relationships with government public officials, university advocates and leadership, agencies and related staff to advance the university’s agenda. He will monitor legislation and governmental issues, execute lobbying efforts, appropriation requests and preparation and participate in strategy development. He was previously with the Ohio Soybean Assn.

 

SENATE COMMITTEE ON AGRICULTURE, NUTRITION & FORESTRY, Washington, D.C. — DaNita Murray has been promoted to policy director. Murray was most recently senior counsel for the committee.

Anthony Seiler has been promoted to legislative assistant. Seiler will focus on producer risk management, conservation, livestock and rural development. He was most recently legislative correspondent for the committee.

Ali Swee has joined the committee as staff assistant. Swee was previously with Targeted Victory.

 

MARS PETCARE, Franklin, Tenn. — Helen Mills will join the company as vice president of corporate affairs in March. Mills was previously with Amgen.

 

LAND O’LAKES INC., Arden Hills, Minn. — Jason Weller will join the SUSTAIN business unit as senior director of sustainability, effective Feb. 27. Weller will lead the team developing the conservation portfolio of tools for member-owners. He was previously with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service.

 

BIOZYME INC., St. Joseph, Mo. — Jake Warntjes has joined the company as area sales manager. Warntjes will promote product sales and support the dealer network in eastern Colorado, western Kansas and western Oklahoma. He was previously with TransOva.

 

VITAMFERO, Angers, France — Dr. Sophie Barreteau has joined the company as research director. Barreteau will develop and capitalize on the technological platform to enable the emergence and development of new candidate products. She was previously with Absiskey.

 

COBB-VANTRESS INC., Siloam Springs, Ark. — Alvaro Burin has been appointed production director in Brazil. Burin will be responsible for coordinating activities at company farms, hatcheries and feed mills located in Brazil as well as for grandparent and great-grandparent performance management. He was previously with JBS Foods.

 

DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Bryce Chatt has joined the company as regional sales manager. Chatt will serve producers, nutrition consultants and feed mills in Ohio. He was previously with Virtus Nutrition.

Dr. Tom Edrington III has joined the company as ruminant technical specialist — field research and food safety. Edrington will direct North America-based beef field research and provide technical support for the pre-harvest food safety team. He was previously with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service.

 

JONES FEED PRODUCTS, Tuscola, Texas — JW Jones has formed this company to serve feed manufacturers, large dairies and ruminant consultants without salespeople. Jones will focus on territory in the southwestern states. He was previously with Oleofinos.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Fabienne Defontaine has joined the company as country manager-France. Defontaine will be responsible for growing and managing product sales in the French market across all species.

 

SILVER BULLET WATER TREATMENT LLC, Denver, Colo. – David Lisle has joined the company as chief executive officer and president. Lisle will oversee the strategic direction, sales expansion and corporate operations. He was previously with Instrument sales & Service Inc.

 

AGSPRING, Leawood, Kan. — Ron Miller will retire as vice president of business development.

Justin Towery has joined the company as vice president of merchandising. Towery will lead grain, rice and oilseed merchandising strategy and execution.

 

KENT NUTRITION GROUP INC., Muscatine, Iowa – Glenn McNall has joined the company as dairy specialist-Vermont.

Mitchell White has joined the company as territory sales manager-Maine. White was most recently with the Maine Department of Agriculture.

 

PAINE SCHWARTZ PARTNERS LLC, San Mateo, Cal. – Kevin Schwartz has been appointed chief executive officer. Schwartz will continue to co-lead the strategy, investment activity and operations of the firm. He was most recently president.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. – Vladimir Fay da Silva has joined the company as account manager – Argentina, Chile and Brazil. Fay da Silva will establish strategic and operational direction in the region, develop short- and long-term sales objectives and manage distributor and major account activities.

 

SOIL HEALTH PARTNERSHIP, St. Louis, Mo. — Jack Cornell has joined the organization as operations manager. Cornell will help manage the on-farm data collected, provide strategic direction and act as a conduit of information to the Science Advisory Committee. He was previously with Monsanto.

 

ADISSEO USA INC., Alpharetta, Ga. – Jeremy Painter has joined the company as ruminant business director for North and Central America. Painter will be responsible for leading the ruminant team to provide technical support and development for the Smartamine M and MetaSmart methionine products.

 

AGSPRING, Leawood, Kan. – Trevor Warren has been promoted to vice president of finance. Warren will drive financial reporting, monitoring and developing key financial performance indicators. He was most recently director of business development.

 

NATIONAL BIODIESEL BOARD, Jefferson City, Mo. – Doug Whitehead has been named chief operating officer. Whitehead was most recently director of operations and membership.

 

GENESUS INC., Oakville, Man. – Dr. Derek Petry has joined the company as chief development officer. Petry will further the development in breeding stock markets and genetic improvement. He was previously with Choice Genetics USA.

 

AGRICAPITAL CORP., New York, N.Y. – Dr. Doug Nelson has joined the AgriCapital Advisors team. Nelson will serve clients in the crop protection space. He was previously with CropLife America.

 

WILLIAMS & JENSEN PLLC, Washington, D.C. — Scott Graves has joined the firm as principal. Graves will focus on the food and agricultural practice. He was previously on the staff of Rep. Mike Conaway (R., Texas).

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. – Dr. Alex Thompson has joined the company as feedlot key account manager. Thompson will provide technical sales support to designated consulting groups and beef cattle feedlot operations throughout the western U.S.

 

BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM VETMEDICA INC., Duluth, Ga. – Dr. David Festa has joined the cattle team as professional services veterinarian. Festa will work with veterinarians and producers in the Pacific Northwest area of the U.S. He was previously with Vet Logic.
