ANIMART LLC announced that it will concentrate its Stockmen's Supply business in Mandan, N.D., and continue developing a strong focus on the beef livestock industry. All services at the West Fargo, N.D., location will transition to Mandan by June 30, 2018.
“We are positioning Stockman's Supply for continued growth in a competitive market,” said Dan Ellsworth, president and chief executive officer of ANIMART. “This move helps simplify our operation and keeps prices competitive for the beef industry we serve.”
Ellsworth said customers can anticipate enhanced product availability with the move, which will streamline logistical services.
Investing in the Mandan community brings ANIMART closer to customers while continuing the legacy of the Stockmen's Supply services, according to the announcement.
“We are the same company offering the same products our customers need for their herds,” Ellsworth said. “Now, we will have a larger inventory, so our field team can provide superior delivery and support.”
ANIMART's team includes veterinarians who know and understand the needs of beef and dairy cattle and can recommend the best products for livestock that will help producers stay current on new offerings, programs and animal health issues, the announcement said.
The transition also marks potential growth for the company, as there are plans to increase the employee base at the Mandan location, the announcement added.
Dr. Tammy Johnson will continue to operate in the West Fargo location providing companion animal veterinary services for the area.
Although the move from West Fargo to Mandan marks a change for some customers, ANIMART said it will continue to provide the health care solutions needed for livestock.
ANIMART LLC, the parent company of Stockmen's Supply, was established in 1982 and is headquartered in Beaver Dam, Wis. ANIMART is a privately held provider of animal health and veterinary products as well as show equipment for dairy and livestock producers.
