Rendering industry’s sustainability contribution to feed and pet food

Only about 50% of an animal is consumable, but with the help of the rendering industry, the remaining products are transformed into valuable ingredients for the feed and pet food industries. Dr. Charles Starkey of the North American Renderers Assn. joins us from IPPE in Atlanta to talk about how these recycled products make animal agriculture more sustainable.
