Papillion hires technical services manager

Devan Paulus Compart will provide technical support for products, with a focus on prebiotic and probiotic technologies.

Papillon Agricultural Company has hired Dr. Devan Paulus Compart as a technical services manager. In this role she will provide technical support for all Papillion products, with a focus on prebiotic and probiotic technologies.

“Devan is an expert in the ruminant feed industry with her background in animal nutrition and experience in research and development,” said David Briggs, president of Papillon Agricultural Company. “We’re thrilled to have Devan’s expertise as we continue to support nutritionists and producers with technologies that promote animal health and improve feed efficiency.”

As technical services manager, Paulus Compart will work on new product development and research projects to help Papillion advance dairy and beef nutrition and support producer profitability.

Paulus Compart has a decade of experience in the ruminant feed industry, most recently as Evonik’s North America ruminant business development manager. In addition, Paulus Compart was the ruminant feed additive R&D and technical service lead for five years at Land O’ Lakes.

Paulus Compart received her bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of California, Davis. Her master’s and doctorate degrees are both in animal science from the University of Minnesota. She is the co-founder and leader of Ag Women Grow, a program that supports career growth for women in the agriculture industry.
