Orffa, Excentials integrate into one company

Orffa and Excentials, both based in the Netherlands, are active in sales and marketing of basic ingredients and specialties in the international feed industry. Until now, all activities were split up: Orffa for feed additives and pharma, operating mostly in Europe, and Excentials for branded specialties, operating mostly outside Europe.

Due to continuous growth, the companies said their product market combinations were increasingly overlapping. Moreover, Orffa and Excentials developed from sales and marketing organizations into research and development-driven companies with in-house-developed concepts. According to an announcement, these developments led to the decision to integrate all Orffa and Excentials activities into one company called Orffa.

As of January 2016, the new Orffa serves the international feed industry with three branded lines for all products and concepts:

1. Orffa Top Select — the quality seal for a wide range of premium distribution brands;

2. Orffa Excentials — the range of innovative and specialized feed additives and feed concepts, and

3. Orffa Elovitals — the range of basic, essential feed additives, produced for the company by its leading long-term partners.

Orffa develops, customizes, sources and offers feed additives and feed additive concepts for the animal nutrition market. Its dedicated teams engineer feed solutions with value-added products and concepts for all stakeholders in the animal production chain. The company offers both concepts developed in-house and branded products, as well as distribution products.

Orffa is based in Werkendam, Netherlands, and has a direct presence in all major established and developing feed producing markets around the world: the Americas, the Middle East and Asia. Orffa markets more than 150,000 metric tons per year.
