PHARMGATE ANIMAL HEALTH, Wilmington, N.C. — William "Bill" Barr has joined the company as senior key account manager. Barr will work with swine integrators to help management and veterinarians develop herd health protocols and best practices that fit each operation. He was previously with Tonisity Inc.

Dr. Chad Smith has joined the company as technical services veterinarian. Smith was previously with Maxwell Foods.

 

TECHMIX GLOBAL, Stewart, Min.. — Sjors Zuurhout has joined the international business unit to support marketing efforts and distributor relations. Zuurhout will work with current and future distribution partners and will help customers develop marketing programs.

AB VISTA, Marlborough, U.K. — Fabiana Freitas has been appointed marketing coordinator on the Latin America team. Freitas will develop communications within the region and identify new opportunities to increase awareness of company products and technical services.

 

ALLFLEX, Dallas, Texas — Bill McCoy has joined the company as feedlot business development manager. McCoy will oversee feedlot business development in North America.

 

AMERICAN FARMLAND TRUST, Washington, D.C. — Nick Herman has been promoted to vice president of development. Herman will lead the fundraising efforts necessary to sustain and grow programming and advance the mission. He was most recently director of development operations.

 

CARGILL, Minneapolis, Minn. — David Dines has been named chief financial officer, effective Dec. 1, 2018. Dines will lead financial operations. He most recently led global trading businesses in the financial and industrial sectors and created the risk management business.

Anna Richo will join the company as general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary, effective Jan. 14, 2019. Richo was previously with UCB.

Brian Sikes has been named to lead the global protein and salt businesses. Sikes was most recently president of North American protein.

Marcel Smits will assume leadership of Cargill Asia Pacific, effective Dec. 1, 2018. Smits will lead the accelerated growth plan in the Asia Pacific region. He most recently chief financial officer. 

 

CORTEVA AGRISCIENCE, Indianapolis, Ind. — Dr. Adam Krull has joined the Global Nutritional Sciences team as a Pioneer senior veterinarian and nutritionist. Krull will assist with technical support and training and will support connectivity with nutritionists and veterinarian influencers. He was previously with the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

 

DELMARVA POULTRY INDUSTRY INC., Georgetown, Del. — Maureen Duffy has joined the organization as member relations manager. Duffy will be responsible for recruitment, retainment and relationship building with all members. She was previously with Jaykal LED Solutions Inc.

 

FARMWELD, Teutopolis, Ill. — Brent Jackson has joined the company as field sales support. Jackson will work with producers in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and surrounding states.

 

IMMUCELL, Portland, Maine — Becky Vincent has joined the company as sales and marketing manager for the Great Lakes region serving Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Vincent will establish relationships with a network of animal health distributors, veterinarians, calf raisers, dairy producers and cow/calf operations focusing on the Great Lakes region. She was previously with RJ Matthews.

 

KAI DESIGN & BUILD, St. Louis, Mo. — Dan Forguson has joined the firm as vice president of finance. Forguson will be responsible for providing enterprise leadership in the areas of financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions and project controls. He was previously with Jacobs.

 

NATIONAL CORN GROWERS ASSN., St. Louis, Mo. — Robyn Allscheid has rejoined the organization as director of research and productivity. Allscheid will serve as staff lead for the Corn Productivity & Quality Action Team and will lead research programs. She was previously with the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center.

 

PHEASANTS FOREVER, St. Paul, Minn. — William “BJ” Werk has joined the organization's Minnesota chapter as precision ag and conservation specialist. Werk will offer business, agronomic and conservation planning services for Minnesota producers while working with participating agricultural retailers. He was previously with John Deere.

 

RABOBANK, New York, N.Y. — Anne Greven has been appointed global co-head of the Food & Agribusiness Innovation team in North America. Greven will drive the strategy for the FoodBytes! and TERRA programs in North America. She most recently led key client-facing businesses.

 

SALMET GMBH & CO. KG, Dietzenbach, Germany — Peter Mumm has been appointed regional business manager for the U.S. and Canada. Mumm will serve the U.S. and Canadian egg industries.

 

SOIL HEALTH PARTNERSHIP, St. Louis, Mo. — Madelyn Rabenhorst has joined the team as field manager covering South Dakota. Rabenhorst will work to enroll farmers in the program in South Dakota and also is expected to cover future enrolled farms in North Dakota.

Stacey Stiens has joined the organization as program coordinator. Stiens will organize and oversee the partnership's events, assist with program communication and support customer relationship management.

 

STONEHAVEN INCUBATE, Andermatt, Switzerland — Dr. Ellie Virtue has been appointed investment manager. Virtue will assist in deep technical and commercial evaluations of new global opportunities. She was previously with Nexvet Biopharma.

 

UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE INSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURE, Knoxville, Tenn. — Hongwei Xin has been named dean for AgResearch, effective in May 2019. Xin is currently with the Iowa State University College of Agriculture & Life Sciences.

 

U.S. GRAINS COUNCIL, Washington, D.C. — Brigid Flay has joined the council as global strategies coordinator. Flay will support the global strategies, trade policy and biotechnology departments in their market engagement and will support the overseas offices. She was previously with the North American Export Grain Assn.

 

VERDESIAN LIFE SCIENCES, Cary, N.C. — Scott Jungman will join the company as vice president of sales for the western Corn Belt region, effective in mid-December.

Pat Mullahey has been promoted to vice president of the U.S. turf and ornamental market.

Jason Radford has joined the company as vice president of sales for the West region.

Alan Sparkman has joined the company as vice president of sales for the East and South regions of the U.S.

 

VITA PLUS, Madison, Wis. — Steve Murty has been named forage products specialist. Murty will provide on-farm forage support for staff and dairy producers in Wisconsin, northern Illinois, northern Iowa, Minnesota and eastern South Dakota.

 

WICK BUILDINGS INC., Mazomanie, Wis. — Allan Breidenbach has been named president. Breidenbach was previously with U.S. Fence Solutions.
