Now in its 78th year, the IFT annual meeting is where those dedicated to the science of food - including industry, government and academia - come together with the purpose of sharing and challenging one another with the latest research, innovative solutions and forward thinking on topics in food science and technology.

The goal is that of tackling the current food sector challenges, such as food waste, plant-based protein and more.

Feedstuffs is at this year's event in downtown Chicago.
