ANUVIA PLANT NUTRIENTS, Zellwood, Fla. — Chris Larson has been named senior vice president, operations and research and development. Larson was previously with UPL.

Don Warren has been named vice president, supply chain. Warren was previously with Arysta LifeScience.

 

RALCO, Marshall, Minn. — Dr. Kevin Touchette has joined the company as senior swine nutritionist. Touchette will focus on serving the technical needs of large-scale swine production systems and will provide technical support to the international swine nutrition business. He was previously with Ajinomoto Animal Nutrition North America Inc.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Jinan Zhao has joined the company as technical sales manager-China. Zhao will provide customers with performance trace mineral nutrition and business solution sales support. He will also cultivate new sales opportunities for all species. He was previously with North Carolina State University.

AGRI-SEARCH, Arthur, Ill. — Chelbi Williams Alt has joined the company as professional agricultural recruiter. Williams Alt will focus on sales and sales management positions. She was previously with GSI.

 

AGROSAVFE NV, Ghent, Belgium — Luc Maertens has been appointed chief operations officer. Maertens will head development of the proprietary product pipeline and will lead the coordination and execution of programs from product design through development and regulatory submissions as well as commercial-scale manufacturing.

Patrice Selles has been appointed chief executive officer. Selles was previously with Syngenta.

 

­ALLTECH, Lexington, Ky. — Dr. Ronan Power has been appointed chief scientific officer. Power will oversee more than 100 researchers, more than 20 research alliances in 12 countries and four bioscience centers located in the U.S., China, the Netherlands and Ireland. He was most recently vice president of the Alltech Life Sciences division.

Laura Shadwick has joined the company as North America poultry mineral manager. Shadwick was previously with Nutra Blend.

 

AMERICAN FARMLAND TRUST, Washington, D.C. — Robbin Marks has joined the organization as director of institutional partnerships (IP). Marks will lead the IP efforts, specifically securing grants and contributions from foundations and government sources. She will manage the IP team and drive the long-term strategy and day-to-day execution of the IP program. She was previously with the Environmental Law Institute.

 

ANIMAL & PLANT HEALTH INSPECTION SERVICE, Riverdale, Md. — Dr. Mark Davidson has been named associate administrator, effective Aug. 4. Davidson will oversee the work of Veterinary Services, Animal Care and Marketing & Regulatory Programs Business Services (MRPBS). He was most recently deputy administrator for MRPBS.

Dr. Burke Healey has been named Veterinary Services (VS) deputy administrator and chief veterinary officer, effective Aug. 4. Healey was most recently VS associate deputy administrator.

Bernadette Juarez has been named deputy administrator for biotechnology regulatory services, effective Aug. 4. Juarez was most recently deputy administrator for Animal Care.

Dr. Betty Goldentyer has been named Animal Care (AC) acting deputy administrator. Goldentyer was most recently AC associate deputy administrator.

Dr. Thomas McKenna has been named executive director for District One of Veterinary Services Field Operations (FiOps), effective Aug. 4. McKenna will also serve as FiOps acting associate deputy administrator. He was most recently FiOps director.

Dr. Jerry Rushin has been named Animal Care associate deputy administrator.

Dr. Jack Shere has been named associate administrator, effective Aug. 4. Shere will concentrate on emergency preparedness and planning as well as homeland and national security issues, with a special focus on African swine fever. Shere was most recently deputy administrator for Veterinary Services and chief veterinary officer.

Dr. Rosemary Sifford has been named Veterinary Services (VS) associate administrator, effective Aug. 4. Sifford was most recently VS associate deputy administrator for strategy and policy.

Dr. Sarah Tomlinson has been named Veterinary Services (VS) associate deputy administrator for strategy and policy, effective Aug. 4. Tomlinson was most recently VS executive director for strategy and policy.

 

ARM & HAMMER ANIMAL & FOOD PRODUCTION, Princeton, N.J. — Heather Robertson has been promoted to ruminant account manager, South Central region. Robertson will support dairy and beef customers with a full portfolio of nutrition products and will work with producers and influencers across the South Central region to grow the portfolio. She was most recently animal productivity specialist.

 

BIOTECHNOLOGY INNOVATION ORGANIZATION, Washington, D.C. — Stephanie Batchelor has been named vice president for the industrial and environmental (I&E) section. Batchelor will help advance sustainability goals and grow America's bio-based economy. She was most recently acting head and managing director of the I&E section.

 

BV SCIENCE INC., Lake St. Louis, Mo. — Dr. Maria (Arendt) Dashek has joined the company as technical manager. Dashek will support sales and market development in the U.S. of certain natural products manufactured by Vetanco S.A. and Dr. Bata Ltd. for poultry producers.

 

CARGILL, Hopkins, Minn. — Dr. Jennifer Trout has joined the company as dairy young animal nutrition technical sales professional for the western region. Trout will work to find and develop prospective customers as well as continue to help meet current customer needs.

 

COBB-VANTRESS INC., Siloam Springs, Ark. — Joe Emmanuel has been promoted to chief financial officer. Emmanuel was most recently senior director of accounting.

Shane Sutton has been named managing director of South American operations. Sutton will lead the South American operations into the next phase of growth. He was most recently chief financial officer for global operations.

 

DARIGOLD INC., Seattle, Wash. — Benoy Kondoor has joined the company as sales director--Middle East and Africa, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Kondoor will be responsible for customer service across the Middle East and Africa. He was previously with Louis Dreyfus Co.

 

ENZYME INNOVATION, Chino, Cal. — Dr. Assad Al-Ammar has joined the company as director of its analytical laboratory. Al-Ammar was previously with Kansas Laboratories and Irvine Pharmaceutical.

 

INTERNATIONAL DAIRY FOODS ASSN., Washington, D.C. — Michael Goodin has been named manager, multimedia and digital content. Goodin will focus on promoting and extending communications and reputation management activities with and for members and the broader dairy and food industries. He was previously with the Heritage Foundation.

MIDWEST ORGANIC CENTER, Marion, Iowa — Scott Koepke has joined the center as farm manager. Koepke was most recently manager of the Etzel Sugar Grove Farm.

Kristine Lang has joined the center as extension scientist.

Dr. Carl Rosier has joined the center as research director. Rosier will inform farmers and others about the soil environment and the effect farming practices have on it.

 

MOTION INDUSTRIES INC., Birmingham, Ala. — Jeremy Barton has been named vice president of the West Group, effective Aug. 1, 2019. Barton will lead the West Group operations. He was most recently Mountain division sales manager.

 

PMI, Arden Hills, Minn. — Dr. Kevin DeHaan has joined the company as regional account sales manager. DeHaan will provide technical support to cattle producers and feedlot managers in the western U.S.

 

POET, Sioux Falls, S.D. — Carla Jacobs English has joined the company as director of public relations. English will serve as the company spokesperson and will lead national, regional and local public relations and media engagement strategies. She was previously with Uber Technologies.

 

SELECT SIRES, Plain City, Ohio — Jennifer Thomas has joined the cooperative as dairy product specialist. Thomas will collaborate with multiple departments to provide Holstein promotional content and pedigree support, distribute dairy sire product updates to the federation and introduce dairy sires to the global market. She was previously with Triple-T Holsteins & Jerseys LLC.
