Ryan Lane has been named president of ADM Animal Nutrition for North America. In the position, he will lead ADM Animal Nutrition’s commercial feed, aqua feed, pet food and premix businesses in the region.

In addition, Lane will be involved in the company’s initiative to grow its global amino acids business and increase its feed additive and ingredient sales in North America.

Lane came to Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) from Cargill in 2015 as vice president, animal nutrition research. Since joining ADM, he has been instrumental in building the company’s animal nutrition and biotech research capabilities to develop new products, services and solutions for the animal nutrition industry. Lane will be based in Decatur, Ill.
