The board of directors of the Farmers Cooperative Association (FCA) announced this week the cooperative’s acquisition of an existing grain storage facility west of its headquarters located in Columbus, Kansas.

Formerly Faulkner Grain Inc., the new facility is located at 904 Falcon Lane in Chetopa, Kansas. The infrastructure expansion will add two million bushels of grain storage to the FCA’s current over four-million-bushel storage capacity. The FCA is fully incorporated and ready to accept local grain at the new facility.

FCA General Manager Matt Case is optimistic and enthusiastic about the recent expansion.
