Biofuel industry asks Trump for intervention

White House urged to act quickly to prevent actions at EPA that would undermine RFS as well as biofuel growth and innovation.

The nation’s leading biofuel advocates sent a letter to President Donald Trump on Tuesday urging the White House to “act quickly to prevent actions” at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that threaten to halt the next great wave of rural investment, freeze innovation in advanced biofuels and undermine the energy security goals of America’s Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS).
