In an effort to give producers and veterinarians a broader choice of sizes, Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica Inc. (BIVI) now offers a 250-dose option for its Ingelvac PRRS MLV.

Ingelvac PRRS MLV is recommended for vaccination of healthy, susceptible pigs, sows and gilts as an aid in the prevention of respiratory disease and in the reduction of reproductive disease associated with the porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus. It is also available in 10-dose and 50-dose bottles.

"Ingelvac PRRS vaccines have been effectively used for more than 20 years to reduce the impact of PRRS when susceptible pigs are faced with a disease challenge,” said Reid Philips, PRRS technical manager for BIVI. “The new 250-dose units add to the convenience of using the vaccine for customers, especially those with larger systems.”
