Topigs Norsvin announced it has hired two additional team members, Jim Schirmer and Kyle Thomas.

Jim Schirmer has joined the company as director of operations. Schirmer will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for Topigs Norsvin USA and leading the local R&D team.

Schirmer has a strong understanding of the swine genetics business, having spent the last 20 years working within it. He also has an extensive background leading technical services and business development teams globally.

Kyle Thomas has joined the company as multiplication & production specialist and will collaborate with customers to optimize the value of our products. He has spent his entire career in the swine industry and brings a wealth of experience in swine production to Topigs Norsvin. He is a graduate of Kirkwood College with a degree in applied science-swine production management.
