Phytobiotics establishes business in Missouri

Phytobiotics Feed Additives, a Germany-based feed additives compnay for livestock and pets with an emphasis in swine and poultry, has established North American headquarters.

Phytobiotics Feed Additives GmbH, a Germany-based company involved in research, development and sales of feed additives for livestock and pets with an emphasis in swine and poultry, has established Phytobiotics North America LLC with headquarters in Wentzville, Mo.

Phytobiotics president and cheif executive officer Hermann Roth said, "We are now well established in many parts of the world and have moved from a footprint of five countries in 2000 to more than 70 countries in 2013. As the regulatory process for our products in the U.S. is reaching the final approval stage, it was time to establish a business in North America."

Bruce King, managing partner North America, will be responsible for building up the business and recruiting a team to serve the North American Market. King has worked in the U.S. and global pork and poultry markets for more than 25 years.

Phytobiotics offers feed additives and consultative services focused on intestinal health, stress reduction and the increase of bioavailability of nutrients for animals. Phytobiotics also serves the bioenergy industry with technology and fermentation stimulants both at the farm and industry level in Europe and Asia. The head office of Phytobiotics is near Frankfurt, Germany. Phytobiotics runs area management branches and production sites in Brazil, Thailand and China and maintains selling licenses with more than 45 international partners.
