AMERICAN SOYBEAN ASSN., Washington, D.C. – Renee Munasifi has joined the association as regulatory affairs manager. Munasifi will work to further soybean regulatory efforts. She previously worked on the staff of Rep. Kristi Noem (R., S.D.).


BUNGE LTD., White Plains, N.Y. — Thomas Boehlert has been appointed executive vice president-chief financial officer, effective Jan. 1. Boehlert will support growth plans and efficiency efforts. He was previously with First Nickel Inc.
  

OBITUARY — Bob Galbraith, founder of Ralco in Marshall, Minn., passed away from cancer at 88. Galbraith built Ralco on the vision of improving the health and performance of livestock as naturally as possible. His original product concepts were innovative for their time and went on to inspire patented technologies that continue to power a wide range of products throughout the industry. Galbraith led Ralco for 19 years and watched it grow from a couple-dozen employees to a multinational company with more than 200 employees. He also saw Ralco expand into crop enhancement and shrimp production.
