BALCHEM CORP., New Hampton, N.Y. — Jonathan Griffin has been promoted to global director of ruminants. Griffin will lead the ruminant international teams in discovering and meeting customer needs.

Job van Gunsteren has been promoted to regional director of Europe, Middle East and Africa. Van Gunsteren will lead the geographic development of business in the region.

Tom Powell has been promoted to director, ANH Monogastrics. Powell will lead the new monogastric management team in identifying opportunities and providing solutions for the market segment.

COBB-VANTRESS INC., Siloam Springs, Ark. — Mike Pruitt has been appointed general manager-North America. Pruitt will direct North American sales, technical service and production. He was previously with Foster Farms.

Dr. Aldo Rossi has been named world director of quality assurance and veterinary services. Rossi will oversee all regional quality assurance departments across the world as well as animal welfare programs and initiatives. He was most recently general manager-North America.

FURST-MCNESS CO., Freeport, Ill. — Dr. Roger W. Ellis has joined the company as beef specialist in the Salina, Kan., region. Ellis will focus on serving accounts and the dealer network in Kansas and the High Plains. He will work directly with backgrounding and finishing yards and cow/calf operations in relation to premix and commodity opportunities.

QUALITECH CORP., Chaska, Minn. — Chris Schaefer has joined the company as quality assurance manager for the animal and plant divisions. Schaefer was previously with Aryzta LLC.

VITA PLUS CORP., Madison, Wis. — Michelle Windle has been named forage products and dairy technical service specialist. Windle will lead efforts in research and development of new forage and dairy feed products. She will help customers and staff troubleshoot on-farm challenges and customize solutions.

WENGER FEEDS, Rheems, Pa. — Grant Markley has been promoted to feed division chief operating officer. Markley will oversee both feed manufacturing and transportation. He was most recently transportation manager.

Jon Slothour has been promoted to ingredient division chief operating officer. Slothour will oversee processed ingredients, grains, soft stock and bagged ingredients, with an expanded emphasis on external ingredient relationships. He was most recently purchasing manager.
