BOUMATIC, Madison, Wis. — Denise Behnke has been appointed public relations manager. Behnke will promote the brand to the public. She was most recently product manager for SmartDairy and Automation.

HAMLET PROTEIN, Findlay, Ohio — Dr. Ingmar Middelbos has joined the company as technical sales manager-pet foods. Middelbos will be responsible for growing pet food sales in the North American pet food sector. He was previously with Novus International.

NATIONAL CHICKEN COUNCIL, Washington, D.C. — Kourtney Determan has joined the council as communications associate. Determan will assist with issues management, day-to-day media relations, positive media outreach, website upkeep, social media management and strategic planning.

Harrison Kircher has been promoted to manager of government affairs. Kircher will focus on advancing lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill and managing the legislative portfolio, including energy policy, international trade, food and agriculture, labor, taxes, immigration and environmental issues. He was previously government affairs associate.

ROCK RIVER LABORATORY INC., Watertown, Wis. — Buffy Sacia has joined the company as marketing and communications director. Sacia will be responsible for the company's marketing strategy, messaging and communications initiatives, brand leadership and building relationships as an analytical consultant for partner groups. She was previously with Filament Marketing LLC.

RP FEED COMPONENTS LLC, East Troy, Wis. — Tom Buck has joined the company as territory sales manager. Buck will be responsible for sales activities in the eastern sales region. He was previously with Old Mill Troy.

U.S. GRAINS COUNCIL, Washington, D.C. — Kurt Shultz has been promoted to director of global strategies. Shultz will be responsible for development of long-term planning in support of the council's domestic and international operations to promote the use of U.S. corn, barley, sorghum and related products worldwide. He will oversee strategic planning, program evaluation and special projects. He was most recently regional director of the Americas.

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Brad Frisvold has been promoted to senior marketing manager-the Americas. Frisvold will be responsible for developing strategic marketing programs and brand strategies to support business in the North American, Central American and South American markets. He was most recently marketing manager for North America and South America.
