JustiFLY available as add-pack

JustiFLY Feedthrough now available in add-pack for both pasture and confinement mineral-based fly control.

Champion USA announced the availability of new JustiFLY Feedthrough in a convenient add-pack for use with free-choice minerals to control all four major species of flies affecting cattle. JustiFLY Feedthrough is available in an economically priced 4 lb. bag that treats five 50-lb. bags of free choice mineral. JustiFLY Feedthrough is available in the 4-lb. bags through several animal health product suppliers including all Durvet members, Nutra Blend and International Nutrition.

JustiFLY Feedthrough is an insect growth regulator (IGR) larvicide available for use on-farm that effectively treats all four fly species — horn fly, face fly, stable fly and housefly.

"Beef and dairy producers usually fight more than just horn flies," Dr. Steve McKinley with AgLand Consulting said. "However, current methoprene-based products only control horn flies while disease-carrying and nuisance flies continue to impact production and employees. This new pasture-approved IGR controls all four flies and is EPA-approved for use in lactating dairy cows and calves and has no milk disposal issues or withdrawal period."

New JustiFLY Feedthrough add-pack is priced to allow beef and dairy producers cost-effective fly control by stopping the larvae from developing once in contact with treated manure. "The new add-pack allows producers full-season fly control while utilizing their own specific mineral choice. There’s no longer a need to change minerals to economically include fly control. This is something producers have been asking for a long time," McKinley added.
