IGP launches online registration

ENROLLING in Kansas State University's International Grains Program (IGP) just got a little easier as the university announced last week that students can now register for courses online.

Last year, more than 500 participants from more than 30 countries took part in IGP's feed and grain management courses.

The new website at www.igpevents.grains.ksu.edu features a list of scheduled courses with detailed descriptions. Two upcoming courses on feed processing and manufacturing will mark the first opportunity for industry professionals to use the new online enrollment tool.

The two courses include "Extrusion Processing: Technology & Commercialization," held in mid-August, and the "IGP Feed Manufacturing" course, offered at the end of September.

"IGP continues to strive toward innovative and relevant programs, beginning with delivering the best, most efficient way for our participants to find and enroll in our courses," IGP associate director Mark Fowler said. "The new standardized form for online registration will help streamline the process both for participants and for our office."
