Crop and other markets awaited a Federal Reserve Bank announcement Wednesday, which many expected would include the first interest rate increase in a year.
Before the announcement, the December crop contracts expired at noon.Cold and snow will spread through the central U.S. beginning on Thursday, with the snow largely staying in the northern Plains and northern Midwest.
