Agriculture industry argues it has done its share in national debt reduction.

Agriculture has often been asked to do more with less, and although new Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue said he’s up to the challenge to be a wise steward of whatever money Congress appropriates to the the U.S. Department of Agriculture, many are hoping it isn’t asked to be the sacrificial lamb in the budget.
