NOVASOURCE, Phoenix, Ariz. — Dr. Sandra Alcaraz has joined the company as director of development. Alcaraz will oversee the development of new and existing products and will lead technical initiatives with third-party collaborators.

Dr. James Cowles has joined the company as director of product safety.

 

CMS, Gainesville, Ga. — Stanley Buell has been named eastern U.S. sales manager. Buell will serve clients east of the Mississippi River.

 

THE FARNSWORTH GROUP INC., Indianapolis, Ind. — Robert Weaver has joined the company as vice president of agribusiness. Weaver will expand service offerings to clients in agribusiness.

 

APTIMMUNE BIOLOGICS, Champaign, Ill. — Dr. Jessica Seate has joined the company as veterinarian for the swine division. Seate will help launch new porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus and influenza vaccines made with BARRICADE formulation technology, as well as assist in the development of the portfolio of swine vaccines. She was previously with Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica Inc.

 

ANIMART LLC, Beaver Dam, Wis. — Dr. Megan Tiffany has joined the Professional Services Team. Tiffany will work with other Northeast team members to provide animal health solutions to dairy producers in Pennsylvania.

 

BRAKKE CONSULTING INC., Dallas, Texas — Darrell Klug has joined the firm as senior consultant. Klug will focus on serving clients who need strategic direction with brand building, portfolio strategy, go-to-market strategy and veterinary and consumer insights. He was previously with Novartis Animal Health and Darrell Klug Consulting.

 

DELUXE FEEDS INC., Muscatine, Iowa — Michael "Mike" Finch has joined the swine production service/sales team based in Sheldon, Iowa. Finch will work exclusively on swine production and service out of the Ireton and Sheldon locations.

 

DEVENISH NUTRITION LLC, Fairmont, Minn. — Joe Berry has joined the company as regional account manager. Berry will focus on poultry opportunities in the Southeast region of the U.S. He was previously with Archer Daniels Midland.

 

PURINA ANIMAL NUTRITION, Shoreview, Minn. — Dr. Casey L. Bradley has joined the company as a swine technical manager for the national swine sales team. Bradley was previously with AB Vista.

Dr. Emily Otto-Tice has joined the company as a senior nutritionist on the swine technical solutions team. Otto-Tice was previously with the Indiana Soybean Alliance and Indiana Corn Marketing Council.

 

U.S. WHEAT ASSOCIATES, Manhattan, Kan. — Mark Fowler has joined the association as vice president of overseas operations. Fowler will be responsible for providing program and personnel direction to the 15 overseas offices, as well as technical and marketing guidance in support of the trade servicing activities. He was previously with Farmer Direct Foods Inc.

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Luis da Veiga has joined the company as country manager — Iberia. Da Veiga will grow and develop Zinpro Performance Minerals sales and applications for the Spanish and Portuguese market as well as coordinate technical, marketing and commercial support.

 

AMERICAN FEED INDUSTRY ASSN., Arlington, Va. — Victoria Broehm has joined the association as director of communications. Broehm will lead media relations and strategic communications efforts and serve as editor of the "AFIA Journal" and other member and media communications. She was previously with CropLife International.

 

ING CAPITAL LLC, Dallas, Texas — Eanna Mulkere has joined the firm as director of the Food & Agri platform. Mulkere will be responsible for a national calling effort that will augment coverage in protein, dairy and value-added food product manufacturing. He was previously with BBVA Compass.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Dr. Paco Fernandez Lopez-Brea has been promoted to poultry support manager — Europe, Russia and South Africa. Lopez-Brea will coordinate and cooperate with country managers to provide technical and commercial support for customers in the three regions. He was most recently country manager for sales activities in Spain and Portugal and for key accounts in Italy and across Central Europe.

 

IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY, Ames, Iowa — Catherine Woteki has joined the department of food science and human nutrition faculty. Woteki was previously with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Dr. Mihai Sun has joined the Research & Nutritional Services team as aquaculture nutritionist. Sun will provide technical support, research expertise and solutions for aquaculture customers across the globe and will develop and implement research protocols to identify current and future needs for trace mineral nutrition in aquaculture production.

 

CEVA ANIMAL HEALTH LLC, Lenexa, Kan. — Jon Thompson has joined the swine division as strategic account manager. Thompson was previously with Bayer Animal Health.

 

NEOGEN, Lansing, Mich. — John Adent has been named chief executive officer. Adent was previously with Animal Health International.

 

NOVITA NUTRITION, Brookings, S.D. — Bill Ton has been appointed director of merchandising. Ton will be responsible for raw material procurement, logistics and requisite risk management. He was previously with Scoular.

 

ANIMINE, Sillingy, France — Shengsheng Li has been appointed to sales development in China. Shengsheng will reinforce the company's presence in the Chinese market.

Kostas Lymperopoulos has joined the company as technical sales manager for southern European and Middle East countries.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Dr. Adam Geiger has joined the company as research nutritionist — dairy. Geiger will work with the Research & Nutritional Services team to assist with dairy research and provide customers with dairy nutritional services and training.

 

CORNELL UNIVERSITY, Ithaca, N.Y. — Dr. Joe McFadden has joined the department of animal science as Northeast Agribusiness & Feed Alliance Partners Sesquicentennial Faculty Fellow assistant professor in dairy cattle biology. McFadden will use big data technologies to better understand cattle nutrition and metabolism. He was previously with West Virginia University.

 

RED ANGUS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA, Denton, Texas — Janet Russell has joined the association as accounting director. Russell was previously with Mojo Inc.

 

VITA PLUS, Madison, Wis. — Charlie Kunisch has joined the company as dairy and beef specialist.  Kunisch will be responsible for serving producers throughout the northern Michigan area and will work with the dairy and beef teams in the area to provide nutrition and management expertise.

 

TONISITY INC., St. Joseph, Mo. — Brian Hotze has joined the company as senior sales representative. Hotze will be responsible for developing territory sales for the Px isotonic protein drink for pigs.

 

CRV USA, Madison, Wis. — Jim Engel has joined the company as a genetic consultant in Wisconsin. Engel will serve dairy producers in the east-central part of Wisconsin.

PERDUE FARMS, Salisbury, Md. — Kelly Fladger has assumed the additional role of chief diversity and inclusion officer. Fladger will be responsible for providing executive leadership in guiding a comprehensive range of services, policies and procedures related to diversity and inclusion excellence across the organization. He is currently also vice president of human resources services.

Blades will be responsible for the strategic direction of agriculture programs and services for members and will serve as primary liaison with agriculture industry organizations, customer groups and government agencies in North America and worldwide.

Amanda Spoo has been promoted to assistant director of communications. Spoo will manage social media outreach and assist in communications to stakeholders and overseas customers. She was most recently communications specialist.

Elizabeth Westendorf has been promoted to assistant director of policy. Westendorf will help implement the plant breeding innovation, sustainability and food aid policy and support a wide range of trade policy issues affecting wheat exports. She was most recently policy specialist.

 

NUTRIAD INC., Hampshire, Ill. — Chuck Middleton has joined the company as dairy nutrition consultant.

Kevin Stephens has joined the company as regional sales manager in the Southeast U.S. Stephens was previously with Elanco Animal Health.

 

HAMLET PROTEIN INC., Horsens, Denmark -- Ronald Rampersad has joined the company as regional sales manager, piglets. Rampersad will be responsible for leading sales, marketing and technical support within the eastern region of the U.S. He was previously with Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica Inc. and Pfizer Inc.
