USDA announces additional realignment steps

Actions involve innovation, consolidation and rearrangement of certain offices into more logical organizational reporting structures.

In his efforts to streamline and improve the efficiencies at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue outlined additional actions in the realignment of a number of offices within USDA to improve customer service and maximize efficiency. The changes build on the reorganization Perdue announced in May.
