Redoubled efforts sought in China trade deal

Ag sales to China up from 2019 levels, but "jury is still out" on whether $40 billion of ag purchases can be met.

Given the progress to date and the significant commitments laid out in the China Phase One Economic & Trade Agreement, U.S. industry groups say they fully support the continuation and full implementation of the deal but also asked for redoubled efforts in realizing its full potential, according to a letter led by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and signed by more than 40 industry groups, including several agricultural groups.
