Perdue testifies before Senate ag appropriations subcommittee

Trade, dairy and FSA office closures top-of-mind issues for senators during hearing Wednesday.

Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue fielded questions for nearly two hours Wednesday morning from the Senate subcommittee on agricultural appropriations and discussed questions ranging from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's reorganization plans to how to address trade uncertainty as well as issues facing specific industry segments, including dairy farmers.
