Perdue discusses ag priorities at Farm Progress Show

Secretary of agriculture shares some of his roadblocks in relaxing regulations and getting the right agriculture advocates on his team.

Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue continued his tour across rural America Wednesday as he visited the largest outdoor farm show at the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Ill. During a brief discussion with attendees Perdue shared some of the things he has learned during his first few months of office as well as some of his goals, including rolling back regulations and helping staff the U.S. Department of Agriculture and an outlook on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
