THE F.L. EMMERT CO., Cincinnati, Ohio — Gary Mitchell has joined the company as vice president of sales.

David Westhoven will retire as senior vice president of sales. Westhoven will transition to a consulting role through the end of 2020.

A.L. GILBERT CO., Oakdale, Cal. — Dr. Caroline Ylioja has joined the company as ruminant nutritionist. Ylioja will provide nutrition consulting services and technical support for dairy and beef customers and will assist in establishing relationships with new clients. Ylioja was previously with Kansas State University.

 

ALLFLEX, Irving, Texas — Heather Birdsall has joined the company as beef monitoring specialist. Birdsall will oversee beef monitoring development in the Central U.S. She was previously with Cornell University.

 

ANIZOME, Houston, Texas — Dr. Ellie Virtue has been appointed chief executive officer. Virtue was previously with Stonehaven Incubate.

 

ANUVIA PLANT NUTRIENTS, Zellwood, Fla. — Don Neyhouse has joined the company as regional sales manager — agriculture. Neyhouse will be responsible for the development of SymTRX sales in the Midwest, working directly with distributor and retail partners in the Midwest states. He was previously with Bayer CropScience.

 

ARM & HAMMER, Princeton, N.J. — Shannon Burasco has been promoted to senior manager, monogastric sales, for the poultry and swine business unit. Burasco will be responsible for leading account managers serving poultry and swine customers across the U.S. He was most recently poultry account manager.

Taylor Schminke has joined the company as account manager for the swine business. Schminke will be responsible for sales growth and territory management. She was previously with Novus International Inc.

 

AUBURN UNIVERSITY, Auburn, Ala. — William A. “Bill” Dozier has been named head of the department of poultry science. Dozier also will serve as executive director of the Charles C. Miller Jr. Poultry Research & Education Center scheduled for completion in 2020. He was most recently professor and poultry nutritionist.

 

CSA ANIMAL NUTRITION, Dayton, Ohio — Dr. Abigail Carpenter has joined the company as dairy nutritionist. Carpenter will provide nutrition consulting services and technical support for dairy customers and will assist in establishing relationships with new clients. Carpenter was previously with the University of Guelph, Ont.

 

DILUTION SOLUTIONS, Clearwater, Fla.— Jose Rodriguez has joined the company as business development manager. Rodriguez will focus on meeting customer needs and exploring opportunities to grow relationships.

 

FARM CREDIT ADMINISTRATION, McLean, Va. — Robert Coleman has been selected as chief operating officer. Coleman will be responsible for planning and directing agency operations in accordance with the operating philosophy and policies of the board. He was most recently chief examiner and director of the Office of Examination.

Roger Paulsen has been named acting chief examiner. Paulsen was most recently deputy director of the Office of Examination.

 

FARM FOUNDATION, Oak Brook, Ill. — Shari Rogge-Fidler will join the organization as president and chief executive officer, effective Sept. 30. Rogge-Fidler was previously with Family Farms LLC.

 

HELIAE AGRICULTURE, Gilbert, Ariz. — Reese Martin has joined the company as regional sales manager for Florida/Georgia. Martin will be responsible for directing sales to meet agriculture and commercial market needs, develop distribution channels, penetrate leading accounts and manage sales campaigns with the objectives of building the region's customer account base and meeting revenue targets.

 

LELY INTERNATIONAL, Maassluis, Netherlands — Chad Huyser has been named regional director of Lely International and president of Lely North America based in Pella, Iowa. Huyser will lead all North American efforts. He was most recently vice president for Lely North America.

 

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE DEPARTMENTS OF AGRICULTURE, Arlington, Va. — Lacy Pitts has been selected as executive administrator to the chief executive officer.

 

NATIONAL CATTLEMEN'S BEEF ASSN., Denver, Colo. — Ethan Lane has been named vice president, government affairs. Lane will guide policy efforts in Washington, D.C. He was most recently executive director if NCBA Federal Lands and the Public Lands Council.

Colin Woodall has been named chief executive officer. Woodall most recently managed the association's efforts in Washington, D.C.

 

PAS REFORM, Zeddam, Netherlands — Jason Wang has been appointed sales and service manager for China.

 

QUALITY TECHNOLOGY INTERNATIONAL, Elgin, Ill. — Kolby LeJeune has been appointed sales and marketing manager, focusing on the turkey market segment. LeJeune will provide sales and technical support for producers, veterinarians and nutritionists and will work with the Animal Health Team to manage existing and prospective customers. She was previously with Agri-Way Partners LLC.

 

R & D LIFE SCIENCES LLC, Menomonie, Wis. — Nathan Hillis has been named national sales director. Hillis will be responsible for developing sales strategies and related marketing tactics as well as for training and leading field sales teams in their execution. He was previously with Norel Animal Nutrition.

 

TYSON FOODS, Springdale, Ark. — John R. Tyson has been appointed chief sustainability officer. Tyson will lead efforts to support a more sustainable food system, including implementing the sustainability strategy and commitments as well as managing the sustainability, animal welfare, environmental and social responsibility teams. He was previously with the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton School of Business.

Justin Whitmore will lead the alternative protein business. Whitmore was most recently chief sustainability officer.

 

WILBUR-ELLIS, San Francisco, Cal. — Laura Fiffick has been appointed environment, health, safety and security (EHSS) director. Fiffick will manage the international EHSS team while promoting safety culture and processes, ensuring regulatory compliance across local, state and federal agencies, analyzing risk exposures and developing and implementing controls that prevent unwanted incidents. She will also continue to develop and roll out the comprehensive, integrated safety program, Guiding People to Safety, and its employee safety training program, Leading with Safety. She was previously with Krause Bell Group.

 

ZEAKAL, San Diego, Cal. — Paul Schickler has joined the leadership team. Schickler will help expand the global footprint, build new partnerships and crystalize the growth strategy. He was previously with DuPont Pioneer.
