AGRICULTURAL RETAILERS ASSN., Washington, D.C. — Danielle Sikes has joined the organization as director of public policy. Sikes was previously with the National Pork Producers Council.

 

ARM & HAMMER ANIMAL & FOOD PRODUCTION, Princeton, N.J. — Kara Stewart has joined the company as technical sales manager on the Passport Food Safety Solutions team. Stewart will work with the team to bring innovative solutions to customers in the pork and poultry industries. She was previously with The TriStrata Group.

 

COBANK, Denver, Colo. — Kenneth Scott Zuckerberg has joined the Knowledge Exchange division as a senior economist. Zuckerberg will be the lead analyst responsible for in-depth research and insight on grains, oilseeds, farm supply and biofuels and will serve as an advisor to the agribusiness-focused divisions. He was previously with the Wells Fargo Food & Agribusiness Industry Advisors Group.

 

EW NUTRITION, Des Moines, Iowa — Dr. Dan Rosener has joined the company as key account manager — swine.

 

FARMERS NATIONAL CO., Omaha, Neb. — David Englund has been named president and chief executive officer. Englund currently oversees the farm management sector and hires, trains and supervises field operations.

Jim Farrell will retire as president and chief executive officer, effective Dec. 31, 2019.

Julie Gerken has been named senior vice president of financial services/treasurer.

Ken Schmitt has been named to oversee the farm management sector. Schmitt is currently area vice president for the central area in Jefferson, Iowa.

IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY, Ames, Iowa — Richard Gates has been named director of the Egg Industry Center, effective Jan. 1, 2020. Gates also will be the holder the Iowa Egg Council endowed professorship. He is currently with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

 

LOUIS DREYFUS CO. B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands — Michael Gelchie has been appointed chief operating officer. Gelchie was most recently head of the coffee platform.

Nigel Mamalis has been appointed global head of risk and compliance.

 

MICHIGAN AGRI-BUSINESS ASSN., Lansing, Mich. — Chuck Lippstreu will join the association as president, effective Jan. 2, 2020. Lippstreu is currently with Land O'Lakes Inc.

 

NATIONAL PORK BOARD, Des Moines, Iowa — Bryan Humphreys has been named the vice president of producer, state and industry relations, effective Dec. 16. Humphreys will be responsible for producer and state outreach efforts. He was previously with the Ohio Pork Council.

Jacque Matsen has been named vice president of strategic communications, effective Dec. 16. Matsen was previously with the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
