AMERICAN EGG BOARD, Chicago, Ill. — Liz Gruszkievicz has been named vice president of consumer marketing, effective April 20. Gruszkievicz will lead the Consumer Marketing group, with responsibility for advertising creative, media planning and buying, public relations and communications, digital and social media, shopper marketing/retail promotion, consumer research and retail measurement. She was previously with Energy BBDO.

 

AMERICAN SOYBEAN ASSN., Washington, D.C. — Alexa Combelic has joined the government affairs team as director of government affairs, effective May 4. Combelic will be responsible for a portfolio that includes biofuels and infrastructure. She is currently on the staff of Rep. Joe Courtney (D., Conn.).

 

ANUVIA PLANT NUTRIENTS, Winter Garden, Fla. — Jim Byrum has joined the company as director of government affairs. Byrum will be responsible for interacting with policy leaders within government and non-government organizations about the company and its fertilizer technology.

 

BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM ANIMAL HEALTH, Duluth, Ga. — Randolph Legg has been appointed head of U.S. commercial business. Legg will lead commercial strategy and execution for teams that help protect and treat pets, horses and livestock in the U.S. He was previously with Boehringer Ingelheim.

 

COBB-VANTRESS INC., Siloam Springs, Ark. — Roy Mutimer has been named managing director for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Mutimer will oversee the production, sale and technical service of grandparent and parent stock across the EMEA region and also will serve in a global capacity on the animal welfare team. He was most recently vice president of operations.

 

CORTEVA AGRISCIENCE, Wilmington, Del. — Anne L. Alonzo will join the company as senior vice president, external affairs and chief sustainability officer, effective April 20. Alonzo will be responsible for setting strategy and leading the external affairs function, which includes corporate communications, global corporate responsibility, government and industry affairs and product advocacy. She was previously with the American Egg Board.

 

CSA ANIMAL NUTRITION, Dayton, Ohio — Dr. Janet Snow has joined the company as poultry nutritionist. Snow will provide nutrition consulting services and technical support for poultry customers, along with assisting in establishing relationships with new clients. Snow was previously with Elanco Animal Health.

 

DEGESCH AMERICA INC., Weyers Cave, Va. — Ben Harl has joined the company as manager of product development and commercial training. Harl will be responsible for additional support to customers in the Midwest.

 

DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Dr. Wee Kok Leong has joined the company as senior consultant — technical services, aqua.


 

FARM FOUNDATION, Oak Brook, Ill. — Martha King has joined the staff as vice president of programs and projects. King will lead the portfolio of programs and projects.

 

GENESUS, Canada — Dr. Chad Bierman has been appointed geneticist. Bierman will oversee genetic improvement programs at genetic nucleus farms, provide leadership for the health research and development program and provide genetic improvement technical support for customers.

 

GENYOUTH, New York, N.Y. — Maureen Bausch has been named chief development officer—GENYOUth COVID-19 Emergency School Nutrition Fund. Bausch will lead and implement the fund's revenue-generating strategy to meet demand from school nutrition professionals during the coronavirus pandemic.

 

IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY, Ames, Iowa — Carmen Bain has been named associate dean of academic innovation for the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences, effective April 16. Bain will lead the college's Office of the Associate Dean for Academic Innovation, which oversees academic affairs, student services, career services, student recruitment and retention and the Brenton Center for Agricultural Instruction & Technology Transfer. She was most recently program coordinator for the agriculture and society undergraduate major within the department of sociology.

Matt Romoser has been named southeast Iowa extension swine specialist. Romoser will work with other extension specialists and Iowa Pork Industry Center staff.

 

KEMIN INDUSTRIES, Des Moines, Iowa -- Patrick Wood has been appointed chief financial officer, effective April 1. Wood was formerly vice president of finance for Kemin Nutrisurance.

 

THE MOSAIC CO., Tampa, Fla. — Ben Pratt has been named senior vice president-government and public affairs. Pratt was most recently vice president-corporate public affairs.

 

NATIONAL SORGHUM PRODUCERS, Lubbock, Texas — John Duff has been promoted to executive vice president for the organization and the United Sorghum Checkoff Program. Duff will collaborate with board and staff leadership to leverage existing grassroots networks and build new networks aimed at strengthening the sorghum industry. He will also assist with day-to-day operations and be involved in legislative and regulatory advocacy on behalf of the association. He was most recently strategic business director and also served as renewables director for the sorghum checkoff.

Garrett Mink has joined the organization as director of operations. Mink will oversee day-to-day operations, organize external board and committee functions and help plan organization events.

 

NEDAP LIVESTOCK MANAGEMENT, Groenlo, Netherlands — Ron Dehli has joined the North American dairy team as technical business development manager. Dehli will be a resource for the U.S. business partners in all aspects of technical support and application, providing training to equip them with the information they need.

Simon will be responsible for the sales and go-to-market strategies with distributors and agents as well as for leading and developing the sales and technical teams in the Americas.

 

PETSOURCE BY SCOULAR, Omaha, Neb. — Amy Tesinsky has joined the company as senior research and innovation scientist. Tesinsky will oversee the identification, development and production of freeze-dried products for the pet food industry, ensuring that the ingredients are made to customer standards during the freeze-drying process. She also will help customers devise new product formulations, conduct trials and partner with university research teams for testing and validation studies. She was previously with Kemin.

 

RALCO, Marshall, Minn. — Dr. Jeff Hill has rejoined the company as brand manager. Hill will focus on managing product lines utilizing the Microbial Catalyst technology and its various applications in the marketplace as well as supporting the expanding beef nutrition line. He was previously with Archer Daniels Midland.

 

UNITED ANIMAL HEALTH INC., Sheridan, Ind. — Mike Blair has joined the company as senior manager of U.S. poultry nutrition. Blair will lead, manage and oversee initial poultry nutrition research, strategic client growth across key accounts and more. He was previously with Devenish.

Keith Staggs has joined the company as director of U.S. poultry sales. Staggs will lead, manage and oversee initial poultry nutrition research, strategic client growth across key accounts and more. He was previously with Holmes Foods Inc.

 

ZINPRO CORP., Eden Prairie, Minn. — Dr. Sutep Luengyotluechakul has been promoted to technical and business development manager for Southeast Asia and India. Luengyotluechakul will lead technical services and training programs for customers and will identify new products and market opportunities to help further expand the customer base and drive sales in the region. He was most recently business development manager for Southeast Asia and account manager to lead the expansion into India, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

José Ramón Páez Manrique has been promoted to Mexico account manager — specialty. Páez Manrique will lead the company's expansion in the aquaculture and pet market for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. He was most recently ruminant account manager.

Andrew Mirams has joined the company as country manager–New Zealand. Mirams will be responsible for growing and managing customer expansion in the New Zealand market across all species and products.

Guillermo Enrique Velasco Peña has joined the company as dairy account manager — Mexico. Velasco Peña will reach and support customers raising young dairy cattle in the region.

Dr. Itsara Suannakhan has been promoted to regional business enterprise manager for Southeast Asia and India. Suannakhan will be responsible for building and leading sales teams across the countries within his earlier responsibilities as well as in India, Vietnam and Nepal. He was most recently territory manager for Southeast Asia responsible for Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.
