Midwest senators meet with EPA’s Pruitt on RFS concerns

Pressure building for Trump Administration to live up to campaign promises of supporting biofuels.

Several senators from biofuel-producing states met with Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt Tuesday for an hour in the office of Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) in Washington, D.C. Grassley convened the meeting, which came after he earlier discussed EPA’s about-face on biofuels with President Donald Trump.
