Lonza announces short, routine shutdown of niacinamide plant in China for maintenance.

Lonza announced June 28 that it will shut down its production of niacinamide (vitamin B3) in Nansha, China, in August 2019 for four weeks to perform routine maintenance and process optimization.

During this period, Lonza said it will fulfill all confirmed orders and contractual obligations.

Founded in 1897, Lonza is a global company with more than 100 sites and offices and approximately 15,500 full-time employees worldwide at the end of 2018.
