Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue urged those in agriculture to advocate science-based decisions and truth with consumers.

While speaking at the U.S. Department of Agriculture's annual Agricultural Outlook Forum, Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue said he’s growing more concerned about the movement in which consumers are being told that they need to fear their food because of technologies. He then advocated for more people to speak out to ensure that farmers have the tools necessary to feed a growing world population in the future.
