Freezing conditions impacting California almond growers

Farmers pulling all-nighters as all almond varieties at risk.

California almond growers have been facing freezing weather conditions, threatening damage to blooming orchards and developing crops. Blue Diamond Growers, a grower-owned cooperative representing more than 3,000 of California's almond growers and the world's leading almond marketer and processor, said all almond varieties are at significant risk for loss when overnight temperatures reach 28°F and below.
