Markets / Policy – What’s ahead for 2018
What does the coming year hold for the grain markets? What about on the policy front coming out of Washington? There is a lot at risk and numerous opportunities ahead.
To help you sort through it all, Chicago NAMA will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday, Dec. 5 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Guest speakers include policy analyst Roger Bernard with Informa IEG and Bryce Knorr, senior editor of Farm Futures. Informa IEG is a sister company to Feedstuffs. Farm Futures is part of Farm Progress and a sister publication to Feedstuffs.
Bernard analyzes policy developments on agriculture, trade, energy, transportation, taxes and U.S. economic and monetary policy for Informa IEG. As a policy analyst, he advises producers on market and business decisions. Before he joined Informa in 2011, he worked for Farm Journal / Pro Farmer for more than 24 years. There he covered U.S. agriculture, trade and Washington policy, spending more than 10 years working in Washington, D.C.
Knorr is senior market analyst with Farm Futures. In addition to analyzing and writing about the commodity markets, he is a former futures introducing broker and is a registered commodity trading adviser. He conducts Farm Futures’ exclusive surveys on acreage, production and management issues and is one of the analysts regularly contacted by business wire services before major USDA crop reports. Knorr covers market trends in corn, soybeans and wheat as well as energy, fertilizer and the financial markets. He also provides future price forecasts for key crop inputs.
