Ice and snow couldn’t keep the pork industry away from the 47th annual Iowa Pork Congress. More than 5,000 people from over a dozen states descended upon Des Moines for the largest winter swine tradeshow in the United States. From checking out the latest technologies among the 500 booths on the tradeshow floor and hearing from a dynamic lineup of speakers on today’s most pressing industry issues to networking with colleagues and friends and tasting a variety of Iowa’s fine quality pork products, there was never a dull moment during the 2019 event. For those who were in attendance and to those who didn’t make it, here is a look behind the scenes at the 2019 Iowa Pork Congress.
