Denver Mart applauds successful WESA market

The Denver Mart is pleased to recognize a successful WESA Market that took place Jan. 11-14, 2019. Held bi-annually, the WESA Market – which represents the International Western/English Apparel & Equipment Market and is produced by the Western & English Sales Association – featured over 250 exhibitors and more than 500 product lines while attracting a global audience in one of America’s most recognized cities.

Over 370 new stores attended the January WESA trade show. The Denver Mart is thrilled to support WESA in their efforts of delivering a successful and memorable show since 1922.  Among the exhibitors in attendance included Jaye Willson, who served as an elected WESA board member for fourteen years and is currently an Account Manager for Miller Brands. Willson shared that this past WESA Market brought tremendous success to their brand.

“I am very pleased with the increase of buyers and retailers in attendance for our Brands at the recent 2019 WESA show. Miller Brands has very specific policies to qualify as a potential retailer, yet I opened 6 new retail accounts and established many added doors with existing accounts. Many colleagues shared that they had the ‘best market ever’ from this 2019 WESA Denver show,” Willson stated.

Expanding on the success of the show is Keith Mundee, President of the American Hat Company, who shared that “we had another fabulous WESA at The Denver Mart. Our sales were up 56.7%. WESA has been a great show for us for many, many years.”

In addition to welcoming retailers and vendors to The Denver Mart, Denver is also home to the National Western Stock Show, which takes place simultaneously during WESA’s Winter Market. Their recent show celebrated 113 years and experienced their third-highest attendance to date with over 700K visitors. This compliments the WESA Market and is a sought-after attraction for WESA attendees to experience.

“The Denver Mart and Denver have always been a hub for the western lifestyle showcased by WESA and the National Western Stock Show.  This demand is not going anywhere and The Mart will be promoting and supporting their Western tenants with a show for years to come.  The demand for space has never been stronger and we feel blessed to be in one of the strongest markets in the country,” shares Todd Herrick, The Denver Mart’s CEO.

WESA will return to The Denver Mart June 19-21, 2019.
